Iris blossom,
Iris is rainbow. Rainbow is the symbol that God placed in the heavens (sky) to show his covenant with his creation. I believe the Lord is saying, Iris, my rainbow, come and shine as I have called you to shine. Not to be shadowed by others, but to allow His light to shine. You are a new creation, born again. YOur past has no say in your present and if it does, it is only because you allow it a say. I also encourage you to realize that God does not see what you see. He sees a beautiful 'iris' that has a plan and purpose in His kingdom.
I read up on 'iris blossom' and learned that it is a specialized species of iris. Not like the common Iris, but different and from what I saw of the flower, very beautiful and unique.
You have a calling on your life, but when we allow our past to have any say in our present, then we are allowing the lies and deceptions of the enemy to take precedence over the word of God. I encourage you to begin to rejoice, praying unceasingly and give thanks for all things, for this is the will of God for you and for each one of us. No matter the storm, yet will I praise thee, even in the night, even in the midst of the storm! Why? Because He is I AM. He is your deliverer. He is your peace. He is your joy. He is your Provider. He is your salvation. He is all you need in life, yet that past hurries up to hinder you.
You are not cut off from God. He is right there with you right now.
Father, thank you for this beautiful 'young' lady whom you call daughter. Thank you that when you look at her you see a new creation, a beautiful 'light' of glowing glory. Thank you that when we look at ourselves our our situations, it is far differnt from what you see.
In Jesus name, I release your glory life and light of Jesus into Iris. Let your light shine magnificiently in this vessel of honor. May her husband cherish her and honor her as Christ loves the church.
Thank you for the blood of Jesus that has washed her white as snow and in Christ there is no more shame and no condemnation, but only newness of life. Instruct her in righteousness Holy Spirit and bring her to the place of RESTING in Christ Jesus...knowing that she is loved and favored. Lighten her darkness and as your word says, Lord:
Arise shine, Iris, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
