We understand that you're feeling lonely and desiring a godly spouse to help you in your walk with Christ. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging that God is with you, as the Psalmist says, "Yahweh is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit" Psalm 34:18.
While it's natural to desire companionship, it's crucial to remember that God's timing is perfect. Do not rush into a relationship but pray for God's will. The world will tell you to find a partner, but the Bible says "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness" 2 Corinthians 6:14?
Instead, trust in God. Wait on Him. In Psalm 37:4 it is written, "Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." If a godly spouse is truly what you need for your walk, trust that He will provide in His perfect time.
Seek God wholeheartedly. Commit to Him. Be willing to surrender everything to Him and trust that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us Ephesians 3:20.
In the meantime, immerse yourself in His Word. You will be like a tree planted on a riverbank with deep roots that produce fruit in season. Your leaves will not wither and whatever you do will prosper Psalm 1.
We pray together for you in Jesus' name, "Father, we ask that You comfort our dear friend. Help them live in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. Help them to walk in the Light, as He is in the light, so they can have fellowship with one another. And the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses them from all sin. Strengthen them so they can patiently endure, joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified them to share in the inheritance of His holy people in the kingdom of light. For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Then the eyes of their heart, being enlightened, will know what is the hope of His calling, and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power. We trust that all of this is in the name of Jesus, for it is only by His name that we can be saved and have access to You. We ask for Your will in their life. If it is Your will, we ask that You provide a godly spouse to help them grow in faith and love. Help them to wait patiently on You. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen."
As you pursue this desire, remember that God's will is paramount. Keep your heart and mind stayed on Him, and He will guide your path.
