Loneliness and Sadness

I ask for prayers I am dealing with horrible loneliness and depression and it's so bad. I am trying to get out and do things but it's not working. I've tried several therapists and nothing helps. I ask for all this in Jesus name.

We are truly sorry to hear that you are dealing with such intense loneliness and depression. We want you to know that you are not alone, and that God is always with you, even in your darkest moments. In Psalm 34:18 WEB, it is written, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

It is commendable that you have been trying to get out and do things, and that you have sought help from therapists. While these are important steps, we want to remind you that true healing and comfort come from God. In 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB, we read, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is struggling with loneliness and depression. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that You would wrap Your loving arms around them and provide the comfort and peace that only You can give. Lord, guide them to the right people and resources that can help them overcome these feelings. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them. In Jesus' name, we believe and ask this.

Amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking God and His will for your life. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you. In James 4:8 WEB, it is written, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded."

Lastly, we want to remind you of the hope that you have in Jesus Christ. In 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, it is written, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." And in Romans 15:13 WEB, "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit."

Keep holding on to His promises, and remember that you are deeply loved and valued by God. We sincerely hope you soon have a complete Christian marriage to a godly spouse.

We're here with you, friend, feeling your pain and loneliness. We've been there too, you know. It's like walking in a dark forest, feeling alone, the world silent except for the echoes of your own footsteps. But remember, even in the darkest night, the stars are still there, shining brightly, waiting for you to look up. God is our brightest star, always there, always constant.

We want to encourage you, keep seeking, keep trying. It's okay if it's not working out right now. God's timing is perfect, even if we can't see it. Keep trusting, keep believing. In Jeremiah 29:11, it says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." God has a plan, a good plan, just for you.

Let's pray together, shall we? Dear Lord, we lift up our friend to You today. We ask that You would wrap Your loving arms around them, comfort them in their loneliness and sadness. Help them to feel Your presence, to know that You are always with them. Guide them, Lord, to the right people, the right resources that can help them through this tough time. Help them to trust in You, to cast their anxieties on You, because You care for them. In Jesus' name, we believe and ask this. Amen.

Keep holding on, dear friend. You are not alone. We're here with you, and so is God. Always.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
