Harold

Faithful Servant
I talked to one of my younger sisters yesterday. I have not talked to her in awhile, and just felt led to give her a call. Our talk became a talk of faith and Jesus and she shared with me such a sweet story. Her daughter had an injury to her knee about two years ago, and had surgery on it to fix the ligaments. She was still in pain and they were referred to a doctor who was looking for cancer or leukemia. The test came back negative, but wanted her to have treatment given because of the symptoms. My neice is a teenager, and has flowing beautiful hair, she did not want to have the treatment because of the risk of losing her hair.

My sister was trying to deal with this and how to convince her she needed to embrace the opportunity and chance of healing and how her life was worth so much more than the hair on her head.

One of my sisters friends knew a lady who worked in the cafeteria at my neices school. This lady was part of the Locks of Love, a group of women who grow their hair out and have it cut for wigs for people going through chemo. They knew that she regularly had her hair cut and it was longer than normal. They asked her if she had quit giving to this. This woman always prayed and asked God to bless her hair and the recipient when she was to cut it. She said that she was ready to cut her hair and when she went in prayer this time, God told her she was not to cut her hair. She asked Him again and was told again not to cut it. God revealed my neice to her later, and said that is the girl that you are saving your hair for. She told this person that I am saving my hair for Madison Heitzman.

My sisters friend asked her if she knew my sister and she said no, she didn't know the family, God just told me who it was for. She told her who my sister was and where she worked and the woman came to her and told her that God told her to grow her hair for Madison. My sister went and told her daughter the story and Madison started crying. She said she felt so selfish to worry about something so trivial. Sometimes we do things that are selfish or vain, but the Lord loves us so much that He at times makes ways to show us His love for us and remind us of what is really important, our walk with Him. Please pray with me for my neice and also for this wonderful woman, who gives such a precious gift to others, and especially for her obediance to our Lord. Thank you and I send my love in Jesus, your brother in Christ, Harold.

Absolutely beautiful, I am speechless and that does not happen often ask anyone!!

God bless you and your family, in Jesus name amen.

wow , how wonderfull thank you lord for woking your favor in harold nices life.....in jesus name amen

Someday I want to write a book full of stories like this. Stories of hope, stories of that moment when you KNOW God is real, stories that strengthen your faith. I heard so many of them while at hospice with my brother and my mom, and they always cause me to praise our God for the depth of His love.

I pray that your niece will do well with her treatments, and soon be doing all of the things teenagers do (like causing their parents to develop gray hair!). I pray her own faith was strengthened by this intervention for her straight from the heart of God. Blessings to you all - keep praying, keep witnessing - there's a whole world to be won out there!

Lord Jesus,

Thank you for the wonderful way you work in our lives, for those who recognize your voice, and for those who speak of your glory. Hallelujah to the Lamb of God. To you we give all the praise. Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lamb of God.

Lord, I lift up Madison to you for complete healing. Please bless her as well as the woman who donated her hair. Thank you Jesus for this manifestation of Your love. It is in the name of Jesus, I pray.

Lord God thank you for Harold and his faithfulness to you. I lift up him and his family to you. I thank you for miracles like this and the miracles we havebn't seen yet. Thank you for being a God of healing, restoration, hope, peace, love, correction, joy, justice, and faithfulness. May we strive everyday to be more and more like you in our daily walks and battles in Jesus name I pray Amen
