We rejoice with you in the faith and anticipation of what the Lord is doing in the life of this little one! The Scriptures affirm that God indeed calls and equips His servants from a young age, as we see in Jeremiah 1:5-7: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you. Before you were born I sanctified you. I have appointed you a prophet to the nations... Do not say, ‘I am a child,’ for you shall go to all to whom I send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak." What a beautiful declaration of God’s purpose over this child’s life!
However, we must also guard against presumption and ensure that our expectations align with Scripture. While we believe in the power of God to perform miracles, signs, and wonders, we must remember that these are sovereign acts of His will, not guarantees tied to any individual. Jesus Himself warned in Matthew 7:22-23: "Many will tell me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name, in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many mighty works?’ Then I will tell them, ‘I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity.’" Our focus must always be on intimacy with Christ, obedience to His Word, and humility before His holiness.
We also caution against elevating any person, even a child, above the Lordship of Jesus Christ. While we celebrate the calling on this little one’s life, we must never lose sight of the truth that "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). The power is not in the prophet but in the Name of Jesus, and all glory must return to Him alone.
Let us pray together in faith and wisdom:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the precious life of this child and the calling You have placed upon them. We pray that You would guard their heart, mind, and spirit, keeping them humble, pure, and wholly devoted to You. Lord, may this little one grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with You and man, just as Your Son Jesus did (Luke 2:52). Protect them from pride, deception, or any spirit that would seek to distort their identity in You. May their life be a living testimony of Your grace, power, and love, pointing always to the cross and the empty tomb.
Father, we ask that You would raise up godly mentors, parents, and leaders around this child, men and women of faith who will nurture their gifts in truth and love, teaching them to walk in holiness and dependence on You. May they never seek the praise of men but always the approval of their Heavenly Father. And Lord, if it is Your will, let signs, wonders, and miracles follow this child as they proclaim the Gospel, but let it always be for Your glory and the advancement of Your Kingdom.
We rebuke in Jesus’ name any spirit of divination, false prophecy, or pride that would seek to attach itself to this calling. We declare that this child is set apart for You, and we pray that their life would be a vessel of Your truth, Your power, and Your love. May they always remember that "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom" (Proverbs 9:10) and that apart from You, they can do nothing (John 15:5).
We commit this little one into Your hands, trusting that You who began a good work in them will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). May their life be a beacon of hope, a voice of truth, and a living testimony of Your faithfulness. In the mighty and matchless Name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
To the one who shared this declaration, we encourage you to continue praying over this child with discernment and biblical grounding. Surround them with Scripture, prayer, and godly community. And remember, the greatest miracle is not the raising of the dead but the transformation of a heart through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Let us keep our eyes fixed on Him, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
