God, allow me to be everything that I'm supposed to be to have everything I am supposed to have. God, allow me to see every part of me as exactly how You created me. God, keep my mind in the knowing that You do not make mistakes - I am supposed to be exactly who I am right here in this moment. God, You have those strengths, You have me my gifts, You gave me my quirks, You gave me the things that makes me the most me. God, allow me to accentuate that authenticity, that fingerprint of You through me into the world. Help me be the most me, God - after Your will. In Jesus name amen

We hear your heart’s cry in this late-night prayer, and we join you in seeking God’s will for your life. Your desire to embrace the way He created you and to walk in His purpose is beautiful, and we stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace.

First, we want to affirm that God does not make mistakes, you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Every strength, gift, and even the quirks that make you uniquely you were designed by Him for His glory. But we must also gently remind you that our identity is not found in self-actualization alone, but in Christ. The apostle Paul wrote, "I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me" (Galatians 2:20). True fulfillment comes when we surrender our "most me" to His will, not the other way around.

We notice your prayer focuses on having everything you’re "supposed to have." Scripture warns us about the dangers of a prosperity mindset that equates God’s favor with material gain or personal fulfillment. Jesus said, "Seek first God’s Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you" (Matthew 6:33). What we are supposed to have is Christ Himself, His presence, His peace, and His purpose for us, which may include suffering, sacrifice, or seasons of waiting. Are you open to God’s definition of "everything," even if it looks different from your own?

We also want to encourage you to examine whether any areas of your life are not yet fully submitted to Him. Are there habits, relationships, or desires that don’t align with His Word? The psalmist prayed, "Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way" (Psalm 139:23-24). Authenticity in Christ means allowing Him to refine us, not just celebrate us.

Let us pray with you now:

"Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your loving design in [this dear one’s] life. You knit them together in their mother’s womb, and You have a purpose for every part of who they are. Lord, we ask that You would help them see themselves through Your eyes, not through the lens of comparison, insecurity, or worldly success, but as Your beloved child. Reveal any areas where they are seeking fulfillment outside of You, and draw their heart to seek You first in all things.

Father, we pray for a spirit of humility and surrender. May they not cling to their own plans or desires, but say with Jesus, 'Not my will, but Yours be done' (Luke 22:42). Help them to walk in the gifts You’ve given them, not for their own glory, but to build up Your Kingdom and point others to Christ. Guard their mind from the lies of the enemy that tell them they are anything less than who You say they are.

We rebuke any spirit of entitlement or discontentment that would whisper that they deserve more than what You’ve ordained. Instead, fill them with gratitude for Your daily bread and the eternal riches found in Christ alone. May they find their joy in You, knowing that in Your presence is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11).

Lord, we ask that You would order their steps according to Your Word. If there are relationships, habits, or ambitions that are not of You, expose them and give [them] the courage to lay them down. May their life be a living testimony of Your grace, a fingerprint of Your love in this world.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who alone gives us access to You. It is through Him that we pray, and it is in His name that we trust. Amen."

Friend, we encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, allowing Him to shape your desires and expectations. Meditate on passages like Jeremiah 29:11-13, which reminds us that God’s plans for us are for good, but they require our wholehearted seeking of Him. Consider fasting from social media or other influences that may distort your view of yourself or your worth. And if you haven’t already, surrender your life fully to Christ, confess Him as Lord, repent of any sin, and ask Him to fill you with His Holy Spirit.

You are not an accident. You are not a mistake. But your greatest purpose is not to be "the most you", it is to be His. And in that, you will find true joy, true peace, and the "everything" that really matters.

It’s late, but God is still listening, He never sleeps on His children. We totally get that ache in your heart to feel complete and to know you’re walking exactly the path God shaped for you. Every unique part of who you are, every gift and quirk, was placed there by Him for a reason.

Sometimes, though, we can get tangled up in the tension between who we are and who we think we ought to be. Maybe He’s calling us to more than just feeling satisfied with ourselves, He might be inviting us to surrender even the parts we’re proud of, so that He can refine them for His glory instead. It’s not about striving to become someone new but about trusting the One who already knows exactly who we’re meant to be.

We’ve been there too, in those quiet moments when the questions feel louder than the answers. But remember, God’s love isn’t based on what we achieve or possess. It’s rooted in the fact that He made us, He chose us, and He’s holding us close even when we can’t see the next step.

Let’s lift this up together, Father, You see the heart behind this prayer tonight. You’ve already proven Your faithfulness time and again, and we cling to that truth now. Would You draw near to ### and quiet the noise of doubt or confusion? Show them again how deeply they’re loved, not for what they do or have, but simply because they’re Yours.

If there’s any pride or self-reliance keeping them from fully resting in You, shine Your light there and help them let go. Help them to embrace the gifts You’ve given without letting them become idols, and to walk confidently in the purpose You’ve already prepared.

Fill them with fresh courage to trust Your timing and Your heart, even when life doesn’t look like they expected. And when they feel small or unsure, remind them that You are the One who makes all things beautiful in its time.

We ask all this in Jesus’ name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
