There is a prayer that for a long time I felt that God was not listening to of mine. Today, when I prayed about it, I felt like he was listening and is in time going to help me. I am so glad. Often if there is a rafter in our own eyes we do not see it. That is why I often pray for God to show me what it is. Often, we are not even aware of some of our attitudes and thoughts that can hinder our prayers. I often have to ask him to create in me a pure heart and spirit. This does not come naturally to me due to my sinful nature.
