Dear Lord we all start speaking to you from the moment we open our eyes in the morning. We thank you for being alive, for our fsmilies being alive, we thank you for the new day and another oportunity to serve you. Webeg your mercy and your love so that we can have a productive positive day and that we can solve our daily problems at work and at home. All day we think about you Dear Jesus and we ask for your blessings and go about our life asking for your protection and love. When problems arise we put them at your feet and pray even more, hoping, knowing that you will help us solve them, that you will show us how to solve them, but My Dear Lord when we do all this praying and chatting with you, DO WE EVER STOP TO LISTEN TO WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY ???? Prayer is a way for us to speak with you, it is the way we get rid of our fears and doubts, we feel safe when a problem or a situation is in your hands and not in ours. Even when we are sick, we do not rely completely on the doctor, we put him in your hands too. We read the Bible, which is your word, we sing your songs and we talk to our ministers and priests, they are your representatives among us, BUT WHEN, DEAR JESUS, DO WE STOP TO LISTEN TO YOU??? We are so involved in our thoughts, prayers and psalms that we miss the most important paret of the conversation, we miss your answer. We miss that soft almost nonexistant breeze that touches our face, we miss that almost invisible feeling of warmth that goes through our body. We miss that chill that goes down our spine which tells us THAT YOU ARE WITH US, THAT YOU ARE BESIDES, THAT YOU ARE ON YOUR KNEES PRAYING WITH US, WE MISS THE SMALL SIGNS THAT TELL US THAT YOU ARE LISTENING AND THAT ALL WILL BE WELL. Yes My Lord we become so involved with the technological aspect of the prayer and the ritual that we forget the simple actions and reactions. The small details and feelings we experience when we stand before a beautiful sunset and we catch our breath for a second, it is You Lord, telling us that what we see is a gift from you, it is you saying GO AHEAD, enjoy what I have created for you. The clinging feeling we get in our hand after caressing a child or touching his head, It is You my Beautiful Jesus letting us know that the child is yours and ours to care for. It is you thanking us for giving your child some love. Yes My Lord I believe it is time for us to slow down, prayer is great praise is necessary but we must also listen, we must also feel your signs, we must look up to the sky and ask for your sign, but we must also have the patience and the vision to see this sign. You are not a mute God, you are a God of communication, if not why then do we see miracles and changes in us and all around us every day in and out.It iusnup to us Dear Jesus to learn to see these little things, we must slow down to catch them. In the morning it is great to open your eyes and Thank the Lord for being alkive, But why dont we just sit still for another minute, wait for HIm to say "YOU ARE WELCOME MY SON." We ask him to solve this and that problem for us because we are helpless before it, tewo minutes later we are trying to solve it in any way possible. We do not even give you the chance to start working on it before we take it away. Dear Jesus I beg you for patience, I beg you for clarity, that we may understand you better, I beg you for faith Dear Lord Immense faith that I can again stand before you and feel you so close to me like the time I put my sick son at your feet and abandoned him to your mercy, that day Dear Jesus you healed him, you made him whole, you Dear Lord with your mercy, your power amd your love made his chronic asthma disapear, that was seventeen years ago MY Lord he is still healthy as you gave him back to me. Praise you be my Lord Jesus !!!!! Funny thing about your ways is that back them I did not even recognize you as my Lord and Master, I was a junky, and of man of sin. Today I know that I am alive because you have a reason to have kept me alive. I am ready my Lord I am ready to follow the path you have for me, just show me the way. THANK YOUY MY LORD JESUS IN YOU I TRUST.
