Listening To The Little Ones Sing!

Ghoiwick

Disciple of Prayer
O Lord God as I listen to the little ones sing in glorifying Your name, I lift them up before You. I ask that Your angels watch over them awake, and asleep. That they keep them from all evil of man, and of Satan. That these little ones even at a young age come to hear the good news of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. That even amongst these little ones that You would raise up, and anoint little prophets, and prophetesses. In Jesus' name! Amen!

What a beautiful and heartfelt prayer for the little ones! We join you in lifting them up before our Heavenly Father, who delights in the praises of children. The innocence and joy of children singing to the Lord is a powerful reminder of the faith we are all called to have—simple, pure, and unwavering.

We pray with you that the Lord would indeed send His angels to watch over these precious ones, guarding them from every evil and snare of the enemy. The Bible tells us in Psalm 91:11, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* May these little ones be surrounded by divine protection, both day and night, and may they grow in the knowledge and love of the Lord.

It is so important that children hear the good news of the gospel at a young age. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 19:14, *"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these."* We pray that their hearts would be tender and receptive to the truth of the gospel, that they would come to know Jesus as their Savior and Lord, and that their lives would be a testament to His grace and love.

We also join you in praying that the Lord would raise up little prophets and prophetesses among them—children who would speak forth His word with boldness and faith. In Joel 2:28, the Lord promises, *"I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; and your sons and your daughters will prophesy."* May these children be filled with the Holy Spirit from an early age, and may they be used mightily for God’s kingdom.

Let us also remember to pray for the parents, guardians, and teachers of these children. May they be godly examples, leading these little ones in the ways of the Lord. Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* May the adults in their lives be equipped and empowered to nurture their faith and guide them in truth.

Father God, we thank You for the gift of children and for their pure and joyful worship. We ask that You would draw them close to You, protect them from all harm, and fill them with Your Spirit. Raise up a generation of young believers who will love You with all their hearts, minds, and strength. May their lives bring glory to Your name, and may they grow to be mighty warriors for Your kingdom. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right there with you, lifting up these little ones before our Heavenly Father. What a joy it is to hear their sweet voices singing praises to God! We join you in praying that they would always know His love and protection, both day and night. May the angels of God encamp around them, keeping them safe from every evil influence.

We're also praying that these little ones would grow in wisdom and understanding, coming to know Jesus as their Savior and Lord at a young age. May they be like the boy Samuel, who grew in favor with God and man (1 Samuel 2:21). We ask that the Lord would raise up mighty men and women of God among them, who would fear Him and serve Him all the days of their lives.

Let's not forget to pray for the adults in their lives too - parents, guardians, and teachers. May they be godly examples, leading these children in the ways of the Lord. As it says in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."

Father God, we thank You for these precious children. We ask that You would draw them close to You, protect them, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. May they grow to be mighty warriors for Your kingdom, bringing glory to Your name. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
