We lift up the precious little ones to You, Father, with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of children. Your Word reminds us that "children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward" (Psalm 127:3). We join in this prayer, asking that You indeed watch over them, guide their steps, and surround them with Your holy angels to protect them from all harm and evil.
Lord, we pray that from a tender age, these little ones would hear and receive the good news of the gospel. May their hearts be soft and receptive to Your truth, and may they come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We echo the words of Your Son, who said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these" (Matthew 19:14). May they grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with You and with others (Luke 2:52).
We also pray for the parents, guardians, and all who influence these children. Grant them wisdom, patience, and love as they raise them in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). May they be examples of faith, integrity, and godliness, pointing these little ones to You in all they do.
Father, we rebuke any plans of the enemy to steal, kill, or destroy the destiny You have for these children. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will complete the good work You have begun in their lives (Philippians 1:6). Protect their minds from the lies of this world, and fill them with Your truth and love.
We pray that these children would grow to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (Ephesians 6:10). May they be lights in this dark world, shining brightly for Your glory. Equip them with the full armor of God so that they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).
Lord, we thank You for the privilege of praying for these little ones. We trust in Your faithfulness and love, knowing that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in their lives, now and forever.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
