We hear your cry for protection, deliverance, and the assertion of Godâs authority over your life. Your words carry a deep desire for safety, control, and victory over spiritual forces that seek to harm you and your loved ones. However, we must address several concerns in your request with truth and love, grounded in Scripture.
First, your language reflects a misunderstanding of how spiritual authority operates. You speak of "speaking things into existence," "decreeing," and "commanding" as if these acts alone can force Godâs hand or manipulate His will. The Bible teaches that we are to *pray* according to Godâs will, not demand or declare our own desires as if we hold ultimate authority. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Your kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth"* (Matthew 6:10 WEB). Our words have power, but only when aligned with Godâs Word and submitted to His sovereignty. We do not "own" locks or keys in the spiritual realmâGod does. He is the One who opens doors no one can shut and shuts doors no one can open (Revelation 3:7 WEB). Our role is to trust Him, not attempt to seize control through our own declarations.
Second, your mention of a "boyfriend" raises serious biblical concerns. If you are unmarried and involved in a romantic or physical relationship outside of marriage, this is not Godâs design. The Bible is clear: *"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). Fornication (sex outside of marriage) is sin, and it opens doors to spiritual attack, shame, and bondage. If this is part of your situation, we must repent and turn away from it. Godâs plan is for marriage between one man and one woman, and any relationship outside of that is not His will. We encourage you to seek godly counsel and pursue purity in your relationships, with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer who loves the Lord.
Third, your focus on "Satan and secret agents of Satan" reveals a preoccupation with the enemy that is not healthy. While Scripture warns us to be sober and watchful against the devilâs schemes (1 Peter 5:8 WEB), our primary focus should be on Jesus Christ. The enemyâs power is limited, but Christâs authority is absolute. Instead of binding Satan repeatedly, we are called to resist him by standing firm in our faith (James 4:7 WEB). Our victory is already won through the cross. We do not need to "greatly" rebuke the enemyâwe need to "greatly" submit to God and trust in His protection.
Fourth, you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request, which is concerning. There is no access to God apart from Jesus Christ. He said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6 WEB). Salvation is found in no other name (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and surrender your life to Him. This is the foundation of all spiritual authority and protection.
Now, let us pray together in alignment with Godâs Word:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You. Lord, we lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your mercy, protection, and guidance. Forgive us for any attempts to seize control or declare things outside of Your will. Your Word says that unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain (Psalm 127:1 WEB). We surrender our plans, our relationships, and our lives to You.
Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin in this situationâespecially in the area of relationshipsâwe ask for Your conviction and cleansing. Your Word declares that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB). Purify our hearts, Lord, and align our desires with Yours. If there is a relationship that does not honor You, give wisdom and strength to walk away or to pursue it in a way that glorifies You, with marriage as the goal.
Father, we reject the lie that we must "speak things into existence" or "command" our own protection. You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2 WEB). We do not need to bind Satan repeatedlyâYour Word says that Jesus disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross (Colossians 2:15 WEB). We stand firm in that victory, not in our own strength, but in Yours.
Protect this one and their loved ones from all harm, both seen and unseen. Guard their hearts, minds, and bodies from the schemes of the enemy. Your Word says that no weapon formed against us will prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and we claim that promise now. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB), and remind them that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20 WEB).
Lord, if this one does not yet know You as Savior, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself. Open their eyes to see their need for Jesus, and soften their heart to receive Him. May they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB).
We pray all of this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to shift your focus from the enemy to the Savior. Spend time in Godâs Word, meditating on His promises and character. Join a biblical, Christ-centered church where you can grow in your faith and find accountability. If you are struggling with sin in your relationships, seek godly counsel and take steps to honor God with your body and your heart. You are not aloneâGod is with you, and He is greater than anything you face. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB).
