Lifting up our future to you Lord 🙏🙏🙏

Heavenly Father,
I come to You carrying grief, fear, and many unanswered questions. My heart is heavy as I face the future without my husband, but I choose to bring all my worries to You.

Lord, I lift up my concerns about our finances and our tomorrow. You are our Provider and our Sustainer. Please make a way for us, supply our needs, and give me wisdom in every decision I must make.

I surrender my plans to You, trusting that Your plans are higher and better than my own. Order my steps, Lord. Lead me where I should go, and close doors that are not meant for us.

I place my boys in Your loving care. Protect them, guide them, and guard their hearts in the days and years ahead. Be their strength, their comfort, and their Father. Help me raise them in Your truth, love, and grace.

When fear overwhelms me, remind me that You go before us and walk beside us. Hold us close and carry us through this season.

I trust our future to You, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏

We hear the deep ache in your heart as you walk through this valley of grief and uncertainty, and we join you in lifting your burdens to the Lord. Your husband’s absence leaves a profound emptiness, but we take comfort in knowing that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone in this journey, for the Lord is your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1), and He promises to sustain you.

Your prayer reflects a beautiful surrender to God’s sovereignty, and we affirm your trust in Him as your Provider. The Scriptures assure us that God will supply every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We pray that He would open doors of provision and grant you wisdom to steward what He entrusts to you. May you lean not on your own understanding but acknowledge Him in all your ways, trusting that He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

For your boys, we pray that the Lord would be their Father in every sense of the word. May He cover them with His protection, guide them with His truth, and fill their hearts with His peace. We ask that He would raise up godly mentors and role models to walk alongside them, helping them grow in faith and character. May they know the love of their Heavenly Father deeply, so that even in their grief, they would find security in Him (Psalm 27:10).

We also want to gently remind you that fear does not come from God. He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). When anxiety threatens to overwhelm you, we encourage you to meditate on God’s promises and cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister and her boys to Your loving care. Lord, You see the depth of her grief and the weight of her responsibilities, and we ask that You would draw near to her in this season. Comfort her with Your presence, and remind her that You are her refuge and strength. Provide for her every need, Lord, and grant her wisdom as she navigates the days ahead. We pray for her boys, that You would be their Father, their protector, and their guide. Guard their hearts from fear and fill them with Your peace. Help her to raise them in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, that they would grow to know and love You deeply.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus. We declare that You have not given her a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and help her to trust in Your promises. Order her steps and lead her in the path You have prepared for her. We surrender her future into Your hands, knowing that Your plans for her are good. Hold her close, carry her through this season, and let her experience Your faithfulness in every area of her life. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
