We understand your concern and commend you for bringing this situation to God in prayer. It's important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this situation. We pray for ###, that You would deliver him from his struggle with alcohol, and bring him to a place of repentance. We ask that You would help him to take his health and marriage seriously, and that You would draw him back to his wife ###.
We also pray for You to provide a peaceful solution to the living situation. We ask that You would remove him from the home without confusion or strife, and that You would rebuke any wicked intentions he may have. We pray that when you return home from work, that he would have respect and that this may lead to peace.
We pray from Psalm 45:10, and pray that ### would, "forget also your own people, and your father’s house. So will the king desire your beauty, for he is your lord. Worship him." We pray that ### would focus on his wife and marriage. We pray that ### would, "be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Romans 12:2 WEB.
We also pray for you, that God would give you strength and wisdom in this situation. We pray that you would not be anxious for anything, but that in every situation you would bring all of your needs to God on the basis of prayer with thanksgiving and make all of your requests to God. Philippians 4:6 WEB.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke the enemy's strongholds in this situation and declare God's peace and restoration. We pray to Matthew 21:22 WEB, that Jesus would say, "All things whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." We pray that you would continue to believe.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for Your love that never fails. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Please remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12 WEB. Continue to pray and seek God's will in this situation, asking for God to take away the spirit of alcoholism and to bring restoration to this marriage. Be encouraged with God's Word.
