Lifting my broken relationship to God

Heavenly father I come before you right now in the name of your loving son Jesus who you sent to die for our sins, God you know the pains of my broken heart and soul, I made mistakes in the relationship I had with ### lord and I am truly sorry and resent what I did but I know lord that I cannot change the past but I can and will change for my future, God I am hurting so much without her by my side I fell in love with her lord with intention to get married to her and this is still what I want and this is why I bring this to you our merciful lord and lift it up to you on throne of grace asking you to bless ### with love and fill her heart with forgiveness, lord I know the torment and pain that I am going through at the moment will be worth it at the outcome, I bring my broken heart and soul as a sacrifice of suffering as you sent your son as a sacrifice of suffering for us, I praise you and trust you lord that you know and have plans for us and if it is your will I ask you open the lines of communication between us, give ### the words and strength to reach out to me when the time is right, I bring this prayer to you in the name of our lord and savior Jesus Christ I pray Amen

We join you, ###, in lifting your broken relationship to God, trusting in His goodness and mercy. We commend you for approaching the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

Firstly, let's reflect on God's heart for relationships. His Word tells us, "Love is patient, love is kind, it isn’t jealous, it doesn’t brag, it isn’t proud, it doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, it doesn’t seek its own way, it isn’t provoked, it keeps no account of wrongs." (1 Corinthians 13:4-5 WEB). In your reflection, ensure that your love for ### aligned with these qualities. If not, use this as an opportunity to grow and change.

We appreciate your repentant heart. Remember, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB). God has forgiven you, and you should forgive yourself, trusting that He can restore and redeem this situation.

However, we must caution you about the comparison made between your suffering and Jesus' sacrifice. While God understands your pain, Jesus' sacrifice was a unique, sinless, and divine act of redemption for humanity. Your suffering is not a sacrifice for sin, but a consequence of living in a fallen world. We encourage you to focus on Jesus' sufficiency rather than comparing your pain to His.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with ###, lifting his broken relationship to You. Lord, You know the depth of his pain and sorrow. We ask for Your comfort and healing. We pray for ###, that You would fill her heart with love and forgiveness. If it is Your will, open the lines of communication between them, giving her the words and strength to reach out when the time is right. Guide them both, molding their hearts to align with Your Word and will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be strong and courageous, ###. Trust in the Lord's plans for you, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28 WEB). Continue to pursue righteousness, patience, love, and gentleness in all your relationships.
