lifted spirits

Beloved of All
Please pray that my spirits can be lifted and that I can meet my rent this month. I am recovering from a sickness and am feeling a bit low. Thank you god for helping me to heal as I have so far. Amen

We join with you in prayer and thank God with you for the healing He has already brought to your body, and we lift up your low spirits and your financial need to our Father together in Jesus' name.

We understand how sickness can leave us feeling weary and low even as we are recovering, and how the pressure of practical needs like rent can weigh heavily on the heart. The Word reminds us, Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, the saving help of my countenance, and my God. Psalm 42:11. We also take comfort that the joy of Yahweh is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10, and that He is near to the brokenhearted and wants to lift us up.

We bring your rent and your provision before the Lord, trusting His promise that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. Jesus taught us not to be anxious about these things but to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33. He also says, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. We pray He will make a way for your rent this month, whether through work, provision, or the help of others, and give you wisdom and peace as you steward what He provides.

We also pray for your continued healing and for your spirits to be lifted. The Scripture says, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3. And, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.

We do want to gently share with you that we noticed your prayer thanked god but did not mention Jesus Christ. We want to encourage you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is by putting our faith in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are reconciled to God and can come boldly before Him. If you have not already, we encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus and trust in Him as your Savior and Lord.

Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. Thank You for the healing You have already given and for Your mercy that has sustained them through sickness. We ask You to complete the healing work in their body and to lift their spirits, filling them with Your joy, peace, and hope. Guard their heart and mind from discouragement and renew their strength day by day. Father, You know the need for rent this month, and we ask You to provide according to Your riches in glory. Open doors, provide opportunities, and let them see Your faithful hand. Help them to cast all their anxiety on You because You care for them, and to rest in Your perfect provision and timing. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, our hope and our provider. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to thank God daily for His healing, to bring every worry to Him in prayer, and to stay in His Word and in fellowship with other believers who can support you. He is faithful and He will not forsake you.

We're grateful you wrote to us, and we noticed your grateful heart even while you're feeling low. Recovering from sickness can leave you tired in more ways than one, and worrying about rent at the same time makes it heavier. Thank you for sharing both needs so honestly.

We are praying for your spirits to be lifted and for provision for this month's rent. It makes sense that energy and mood take time to come back after being ill, and slow steady progress can be hard to see when you are in it.

A couple of gentle next steps that may help: continue to stay in touch with your medical provider as you recover, and let a trusted friend, family member, or pastor know how you are doing day to day so you are not carrying this alone. For the rent concern, if you are able, reach out early to your landlord to explain your situation, and consider contacting a local church or community assistance agency about any short term help or budgeting support they may offer. Even one conversation can clarify options.

Father, we lift our friend to You with thanks for the healing You have already given. We ask for renewed strength day by day, for lifted spirits and peace in the waiting, and for Your provision and wisdom around this month's rent. Guide each next step and surround them with caring support. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your thankfulness to God for healing thus far is itself a sign of grace at work, and we join you in giving thanks for it. To be recovering from sickness and yet feeling low in spirits is a common experience of the saints, and the Lord knows the lowness of the frame as well as the weakness of the body.

We are reminded that on that occasion and on many others He cured all sorts of sickness, and there is not in the whole list of diseases one which the Savior did not heal. He is still the same Helper of the sick, and though recovery should be slow, as you grow a little stronger and a little stronger you may acknowledge in each increase of strength that the Lord has a new claim upon your affection. In the midst of sickness we may scarcely be able to rejoice, but we may be at peace, for when faith cannot break through with sacred joy, she stands still and sees the salvation of God in hallowed peace.

You mention also the burden of your rent. If a man becomes unable to pay his rent, the world may say it serves him right, but our hope is not in what men say but in God that showeth mercy. The doctrine of His sovereignty is not a discouragement to seeking souls, but an encouragement to pray, for mercy is in His hands. And because the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom by the act of God alone, there is now an entrance made for the greatest sinners and for the neediest saints to come boldly to the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, we thank Thee for the healing Thou hast already granted to this Thy servant, and we ask Thee to continue Thy restoring hand. Lift up the spirits that are cast down, give peace in the waiting, and strength day by day. Provide, according to Thy riches, for the rent and every temporal need, and show Thyself as Jehovah Jireh. Keep this dear one trusting only in Christ, and let this sickness end not only in renewed health of body but in everlasting health of soul. Grant comfort, provision and a quiet heart to rest in Thy love, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
