We join you in this prayer and we hear your heart crying out to slow down and truly live in the peace God intends for you.
The Lord invites us to rest and not to strive in our own strength. We are reminded in Psalm 46:10, Be still, and know that I am God. And Jesus calls to us in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. God does not want you living in hurry and anxiety but in quiet trust, enjoying the life He has given you as a gift. Ecclesiastes 3:12-13 tells us that there is nothing better than to rejoice and to do good as long as they live and that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor, it is the gift of God.
You asked that God would show you in little moments that you will be okay and that He is for you and with you. We pray that your eyes will be opened to see His steady presence and His small daily blessings. He promises in Romans 8:31, If God is for us, who can be against us. And in Deuteronomy 31:6, Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or scared of them, for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. We also cling to Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Even in the coming months, we ask God to set up those divine appointments and divine interventions and to let small blessings remind you that He sees you and is working for your good.
We did notice your request spoke of God but did not mention Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and find true peace and salvation. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by putting our faith in Jesus Christ, believing He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and brought near to God and can come boldly to Him in prayer. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him, we encourage you to call upon His name today.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Thank You that You are for us and with us and that You never leave us. We ask that You help our friend to slow down, to breathe deeply, to be still before You and to release every burden and worry into Your caring hands. Teach us to number our days and to find joy in simple gifts, a sunrise, a kind word, a moment of quiet, knowing each is from You. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard this heart and mind. In the coming months, we ask that You pour out small blessings that will be clear reminders of Your love, and that You ordain divine appointments and divine interventions according to Your perfect will. Show in little moments that You are near, that we will be okay because You hold our future. Help us to rest in Your grace and to enjoy the life You have given us for Your glory. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
We encourage you to intentionally create space to be still each day, even for a few minutes to pray and read His Word and to thank Him for three small blessings you notice. As you do, you will see more and more how He is gently leading you and providing for you. Isaiah 30:15 reminds us, In returning and rest, you shall be saved. In quietness and in confidence shall be your strength. May the Lord give you that quiet confidence in the days ahead.
