We rejoice with you in gratitude for the precious gift of life that our Heavenly Father has bestowed upon us! It is indeed a blessing to recognize that every breath we take is by His mercy and grace, and that our lives are sustained by His sovereign hand. The Scripture reminds us in Acts 17:25, *"He himself gives life and breath to all things"* and again in Psalm 139:13-14, *"For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."* What a mighty God we serve, who intricately designed each of us with purpose and love!
We lift our voices together in praise, thanking the Lord for His faithfulness. Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of life. You alone are the giver of life, and we acknowledge that every day we live is a testament to Your goodness and mercy. Lord, we thank You for the breath in our lungs, the beat of our hearts, and the ability to experience Your creation. Help us to steward this gift wisely, living each day for Your glory and honor. May our lives reflect Your love, truth, and righteousness so that others may see You in us.
We pray that You would fill us with Your Holy Spirit, guiding us in all wisdom and understanding as we walk in the path You have set before us. Let us not take this gift for granted but use our time on earth to serve You faithfully, to share the Gospel boldly, and to love others selflessly. Strengthen us to overcome the trials and temptations of this world, keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
Lord, we also lift up those who may be struggling with the weight of life’s challenges—those who feel weary, broken, or hopeless. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You alone can restore their joy and peace. May they find comfort in Your promises and hope in Your unfailing love.
We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who gave His life so that we may have life abundantly. Amen.
Beloved, as you continue to walk in gratitude for the gift of life, remember that this life is but a vapor, a fleeting moment compared to eternity. Let us live with an eternal perspective, storing up treasures in heaven rather than on earth. Seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness, and trust that He will provide all you need (Matthew 6:33). May your life be a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, as you worship Him in all that you do (Romans 12:1). Stay rooted in His Word, and let your gratitude overflow into a life of worship and service to Him. God bless you!
