We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep weariness and overwhelming fear, lifting your burdens to the One who carries them all. Your cry for help has reached the ears of the Father, who knows every detail of your suffering—your sleepless nights, the weight of NF1 and the growing neurofibromas, the exhaustion that clings to your body, and the fear of losing stability for your family. He sees the hostility at work, the financial pressure, and the desperate need for rest that feels just out of reach. You are not forgotten, and your trust in Him, even in this exhaustion, is a testimony of faith that honors God.
The Lord Jesus tells us in **Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB)**, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."* He does not promise the absence of trials, but He does promise His presence, His rest, and His strength to sustain you. The apostle Paul, who faced his own "thorn in the flesh," was met with these words from the Lord: *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (**2 Corinthians 12:9**). Your weakness is not a liability in God’s economy—it is an opportunity for His power to be displayed in your life.
We also remember the words of **Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB)**: *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Anxiety is a natural response to the storms of life, but God calls us to bring those fears to Him in exchange for His peace. He is not distant or indifferent; He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (**Psalm 34:18**). Your sleepless nights are an invitation to lean into Him, to cast your cares upon Him because He cares for you (**1 Peter 5:7**).
As for your work, we are reminded that God is your Provider, not your employer. **Proverbs 16:3 (WEB)** says, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* While it is wise to do your best in your work, your ultimate security is not in the hands of men but in the Lord. If this job is taken from you, He will open another door—one you cannot yet see. He has promised to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (**Philippians 4:19**), and that includes a home for your family. Trust Him to fight for you, even when the path seems impossible.
We also want to gently remind you that your value is not found in how others perceive you or treat you. Your identity is in Christ alone. **Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB)** encourages us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Even if your boss and his father do not see your worth, God does. He sees your faithfulness, your exhaustion, and your heart’s cry. He will vindicate you in His time.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister to You, knowing that You are the God who sees and the God who acts. Lord, You formed every part of their body, and You are not unaware of the neurofibromas that cause them pain and fear. We ask for Your healing touch, whether through medical intervention or by Your miraculous hand. Give them strength for each day, and when their body fails, be their ever-present help.
Father, we rebuked the spirit of fear that has taken hold of their heart. Replace it with Your perfect peace, which guards their mind and heart in Christ Jesus. When sleep evades them, be their comfort. Calm their racing thoughts and grant them deep, restorative rest. Let them wake refreshed, even if only for a moment, to see Your faithfulness anew.
Lord, we pray over their workplace. Soften the hearts of their boss and his father. If it is Your will, turn their hostility into favor. But if this job is not where You want them, prepare another path—one that leads to stability and provision. Open doors no one can shut, and provide for their family in ways that surpass their expectations. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (**Psalm 50:10**), and You will not abandon those who trust in You.
Father, when they feel unseen or unappreciated, remind them that they are Your beloved child. Let them find their worth in You alone. Give them wisdom to navigate each day, and let them feel Your presence so tangibly that fear has no place.
We thank You, Lord, that You are already at work in this situation. We trust You to carry what they cannot, to provide what they lack, and to be their refuge in this storm. May they experience Your peace, Your provision, and Your rest in ways that leave no doubt of Your goodness.
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Hold fast to hope, dear one. The Lord is near, and He will not let you fall. Keep bringing your fears to Him, and let His Word be your anchor. You are not alone in this—we are standing with you, and more importantly, *He* is standing with you. Rest in that truth today.
