LIFE THREATENING SITUATION coma in hospital

Beloved of All
###'s brother ### - heart aorte surgery complications - sepsis, hospital bacteria, coma (in and out 3 times)...age cca ###...HEALING AND SALVATION for him and his family...HEALTHY EATING, SLEEPING, WALKING, EXERCISING and other HABITS after releasing out of the hospital.

We join you in lifting up your brother before the throne of grace in this life threatening situation and we stand with you and his whole family in prayer for his healing and salvation.

We have heard his need, heart aorta surgery with severe complications, sepsis and hospital infection, and now a coma that has come and gone three times. Our hearts are moved with compassion for him and for all of you who love him and are waiting and watching. We know the Lord sees him in that hospital bed and knows every detail of his body.

We pray for his complete healing according to God's mercy and will. Scripture tells us He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We cling to the promise But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17 and The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. By His wounds we have been healed Isaiah 53:5.

We also lift up his salvation and the salvation of his family, which you rightly placed alongside healing. We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. So we pray not only for physical restoration but that this trial would draw your brother and his entire household to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, that whatever the outcome they would know the hope of eternal life.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up this dear brother to You. You know him by name and You formed his heart and his vessels. We ask You to rebuke this sepsis and infection, to cleanse his blood, to strengthen his heart and aorta, to restore his lungs and every organ affected by surgery and bacteria. We ask You to bring him out of this coma fully, to restore his consciousness, his breathing, his mind and memory without damage. Lay Your healing hand upon him and grant wisdom and steady hands to every doctor and nurse caring for him. Comfort his family, give them peace that passes understanding and strength for each hour of waiting. Lord, we pray above all for his soul and for his family, that each one would call upon the name of Jesus and be saved, that they would turn to You with their whole hearts. If it is Your will, raise him up to testify of Your goodness and to walk in newness of life with You. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We also pray for the days after You bring him out of the hospital, as you asked for healthy habits. We pray the Lord will give him grace to steward the body God has healed. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We pray for discipline and joy in healthy eating, deep and restful sleeping, daily walking and gentle exercising as strength returns, and for wisdom to avoid what harms the body and to embrace what restores it. May his recovery be steady and complete, and may his life be lived for the glory of God.

We encourage you to continue to pray without ceasing, to read Scripture at his bedside, to speak the name of Jesus over him, and to trust the Lord whether He answers with immediate healing or with sustaining grace through a longer path. He will not leave you nor forsake you. Keep seeking Him together as a family.

We have been carrying your ### and your whole family in prayer since we read your note. To have him go through heart surgery and then sepsis and a coma that has come and gone three times is a lot to hold, and we can hear how much you love him and want both healing for his body and salvation for him and your family.

Waiting through days in the hospital like this is exhausting in every way. It often disrupts sleep, meals, and work for everyone who loves him, and it is hard to take in medical updates when you are tired and worried. Please be gentle with yourselves in this stretch and let others help carry the load where they can.

One small thing that has helped other families in a long hospital stay is to have one person keep a simple notebook with doctors names, what is said each day, and questions you want to ask next time. It can reduce having to remember everything at once and helps the medical team give you clearer answers. And as you are able, keep your own basic rhythms of rest and food, and lean on your pastor or a hospital chaplain for support day to day. For the healthy habits you hope for after he comes home, his care team will be the best guide when the time comes.

Father, we lift this ### to You, ask for Your mercy and healing touch, for wisdom for every doctor and nurse caring for him, and for Your peace to guard his family as they wait. Draw each of them closer to You through Jesus and lead them step by step in the days ahead. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We have heard your cry concerning your ### and we join with you in earnest prayer before the throne of grace for him and for all his family.

What a trying providence to see one so dear brought through heart surgery and then beset with sepsis and infection, in and out of coma three times and hanging between life and death. Our hearts are moved for you, and we bring his case to the Great Physician who alone has power over body and soul.

We are reminded that the leaves of the tree of life were for the healing of the nations, and that tree is our Lord Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only His fruit but even His leaves, the least things about Christ, are full of healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus, and from Him as the great conduit Head abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. When our own strength fails, our strength is to sit still while God arises and becomes our arm every morning, our salvation in the time of trouble. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when Jesus healed the sick He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, for pardon and healing are one in His hand.

We pray therefore first and chiefly for salvation, for what shall it profit a man if his body be restored and his soul remain lost. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. Salvation is by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus alone. It is to look unto Him and be saved, for He has said, Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth. It is not a matter of price or merit, but without money and without price, by trusting wholly upon the Person of Christ, depending upon Him without fear as to present and eternal salvation. We pray that in this sick room, whether by a whisper heard in coma or by the witness of those who watch and wait, the Lord would reveal Himself as Savior to your ### and to every member of his household, that they may believe on Him and be saved, and be made a rejoicing family in Christ.

We also pray for healing according to the will of our sovereign God. We ask the Lord to rebuke the sepsis and infection, to cleanse his blood, to restore his heart and vessels, to lift him from coma and give him back to consciousness and strength. We ask that the Lord would guide the hands and minds of physicians and nurses, and that He would grant a complete recovery so that healing virtue may work health and cure till he shall be restored. And we join your prayer for that which shall follow, that if the Lord is pleased to raise him up and release him from the hospital, He would grant grace for healthy eating, sleeping, walking, exercising and all other habits which sustain the body as the temple of the Holy Spirit, and that his renewed strength may be used to walk in newness of life.

Cast your burden upon the Lord, and look unto Jesus. Faith must look for salvation only from the Lord and then salvation will come to it. May the Lord Himself be your salvation and your song in this night of watching, and may He prove that beside Him there is none else who can save and heal.

We will continue to bear you and your ### and his family before the Lord, asking for mercy, for life, and above all for faith in Christ who is our life.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, and cause His face to shine upon you and give you peace. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are lifting up this brother and his family before the Lord with you in this very serious and painful time. To hear that he has gone in and out of coma three times after heart and aorta surgery, with sepsis and infection, shows how fragile life is and how much he needs the mercy of God.

We pray for healing and for the God of mercies to deliver him. We ask the Lord to have compassion on him in this coma, to clear the infection from his body, to strengthen his heart and lungs, and to guide the hands and minds of the doctors and nurses caring for him. We ask for wisdom for every decision they make and for protection from further complications. If it is the Lord's will, we pray that He would raise him up again and grant him more time on this earth.

We also pray with you for his salvation and for the salvation of his whole family. Scripture teaches that God wills all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, and that truth is faith in Jesus Christ, for His death is the salvation of the world. There is salvation in no one else. We pray that even in this affliction, which God can use for comfort and salvation, this brother and his loved ones would hear the gospel with a careful and continual heart, and would turn to Christ in faith while now is still the acceptable time and the day of salvation. Hearing alone is not sufficient, but God calls us to receive His word and to walk in it with trust and obedience.

We join you in praying for what comes after, if the Lord brings him out of the hospital. We ask God to give him grace to build healthy habits of eating, sleeping, walking, exercising and daily living that honor God and strengthen the body He has made. We pray that He would restore his strength step by step and give his family patience, hope and unity as they care for him.

May the Lord comfort you as you wait and intercede, and may He be near to this brother and his family, granting healing according to His will and above all the grace of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Your request has been heard and we are bringing your brother before the Lord with you. To have a loved one in and out of coma after heart and aorta surgery, with sepsis and infection from the hospital, is a heavy and frightening burden, and we share your sorrow and your prayers for him.

We are praying that God in His mercy would touch his body, clear the infection, heal his heart, and lift him out of coma into full consciousness and strength. God is able to heal, and we ask Him to give wisdom to the doctors and nurses who care for him and to work beyond what medicine can do.

Above all we are praying for his salvation and for the salvation of his family. The name Jesus means the Lord is salvation, for He came to save His people from their sins and He bore the curse of sin for us. Scripture makes salvation very near and very simple. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. With the heart a person believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. This is not to be put off. The Bible says now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation, and urges us not to receive the grace of God in vain. We see in the story of Pharaoh how a man hardened his own heart again and again until God made that hardness firm. Do not harden your heart, but turn to Jesus now while He may be found. God looks at the heart, and He desires truth and trust from the whole heart, not a divided or half hearted seeking. He promises to circumcise the heart, to give a new heart that loves Him and wants to please Him.

We pray that same grace for each member of the family, that each one would seek the Lord with the whole heart and delight in Him. When you seek Him with your whole heart you will find Him, and He will plant His own desires within you.

We also join you in praying for the days after the hospital, for healthy habits of eating, sleeping, walking, exercise and daily life. The Scripture says to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you both to will and to do His good pleasure. That means God Himself gives both the willing and the strength. He puts His desires in your heart and then works out the way to fulfill them. As you hide His Word in your heart you will have light for your path and strength to walk in it. Ask Him to incline your brother's heart toward His testimonies and away from what harms, to give him delight in what is good, and to make his heart sound in His ways. In that way healthy habits become not mere willpower but the fruit of a new life lived before the Lord.

May the Lord hear your cry, grant healing according to His perfect will, grant saving faith to your brother and to his household through Jesus Christ alone, and sustain you with His peace as you trust Him. We continue to pray with you that the voice of rejoicing in salvation will be in your home.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your loved ones brother in this life threatening situation.

We have continued to lift him up before the Lord, remembering his heart and aorta surgery complications, the sepsis and hospital bacteria, and how he has gone in and out of coma three times. We have been praying for his complete healing and for his salvation and the salvation of his family, and that the Lord would draw each of them to Himself. We have also been praying for his full restoration after he is released from the hospital, for healthy habits of eating and sleeping and for strength to walk and exercise and to be fully restored in body, mind and spirit.

We trust in the Lord who is our healer and we cling to His promises for you, that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up wounds as written in Psalm 147:3, and that by His stripes we are healed as written in Isaiah 53:5, and that He has promised I will restore health to you and heal your wounds as written in Jer 30:17. We also pray for salvation for him and his household according to Acts 16:31.

If your request was answered and the Lord has brought him out of coma and restored his health, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you and give glory to God. If your request does not seem to have been answered and he is still in critical condition or still in need of healing, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name that the Lord would touch him with His healing hand, deliver him from every infection and complication, and grant him new life in Christ and a strong and healthy life after the hospital to His glory.
