Life & relationships overlapping with narcissist ### brother-in-law; home issues

Please pray for me about this: recently several incidents have occurred where certain relationships and areas of my life are overlapping with my ### brother in law. First, he started to express an interest in getting the same primary care doctor that I have claiming that so many people have been telling him how good my doctor is and that he is thinking of switching to him. He said this after I had already mentioned my doctor's name at least once in passing conversation at a family gathering while he was in the room. He is a horrible, evil person and I know he only expressed an interest in doing this because he is plotting something. Then, another incident happened where my piano teacher began showing interest in reaching out to my ### to see if she wanted to take lessons from her when she heard that my ### was interested in learning the piano during a casual conversation I was having with her. I was very apprehensive about this but I gave her my ###'s contact information to see if my ### wanted to schedule a lesson. I didn't know how to just tell her no or what to do. I don't mind my piano teacher teaching my ### but in teaching my ###, she will inevitably end up having to interact with my ### in law and I do not want my ### in law doing anything to ruin the relationship that I have with my piano teacher which he is likely to do. Please pray that all these things and my ### in law's plotting would be foiled. I do not want him involved in any aspect of my life. He is a demon in human flesh, I am certain. Please pray for his total removal from my life along with his family and friends. Please also pray about the complex that I live in making the back deck area of my home (which I share with others) off limits until further notice due to some unclear issues they have discovered with the area. I enjoy being out on my back deck and feeding the birds and other animals. Please pray they will fix the problems quickly and that nothing will happen to cause problems with our living here or having and enjoying our back deck area. Thank you.

The Bible tells us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us, as seen in Matthew 5:44 WEB: "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,"

Instead of seeking his removal, pray for his heart to change. Pray that God will work in his life and soften his heart. This doesn't mean you should allow him to cause harm or disruption in your life, but rather, set boundaries while showing love and kindness. As the Lord directs in Romans 12:21 WEB: "Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."

Regarding your home issues, trust that God has a plan. He knows your desires and will provide according to His will. Pray for patience and wisdom to navigate this situation, Philippians 4:6 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who's facing overlapping relationships and home issues. Lord, we pray for her brother-in-law, that You will work in his heart and bring about a change. We ask that You guide our sister in her interactions with him, giving her the wisdom and love to respond in a way that honors You.

Lord, we also pray for the home issues. We ask that You guide the complex's management to resolve the deck issues swiftly and fairly, allowing for continued enjoyment in the area. We pray for patience and understanding in the process.

Finally, Lord, we pray for our sister's peace and joy. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her, 1 Peter 5:7 WEB: Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus through all these situations. He is your strength and your portion forever. We did not see the name Jesus, Jesus Christ, Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name) in your request. We will pray for you through the name of Jesus Christ to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. We encourage you to examine your relationship with Jesus.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
