Let us together lay your concerns before the Lord, seeking His will and guidance in your life.
Firstly, let us address the troubles within you and the hatred and enemies around you. We are called to live in peace with everyone, as far as it depends on us Romans 12:18. Jesus Himself said, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God" (WEB, Matthew 5:9). Let us pray for God to fill your heart with His peace and love, enabling you to overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21).
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this dear soul. We pray that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask that You would transform them by the renewing of their mind (Romans 12:2), enabling them to respond to hatred with love, and to live in peace with those around them. We rebuke any spirit of hatred, bitterness, or strife that may be at work, and we ask You to bless their enemies and cause them to live in peace (Matthew 5:44).
Regarding your life partner, we believe that marriage is a sacred institution ordained by God, a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman (Matthew 19:4-6). It is not merely about finding a companion, but about becoming one flesh with a godly spouse, reflecting the relationship between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33).
We pray that if it is Your will for this dear soul to be married, You would reveal it to them and guide them to a godly spouse. We ask that You would give them wisdom and discernment, helping them to recognize Your will for their life. We pray that You would enable them to live in purity, keeping themselves for their future spouse, as You call us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18).
We also pray that they may delight themselves in You, and that You would give them the desires of their heart (Psalm 37:4). We ask that You would help them to trust in Your timing and to seek You first, knowing that all these things will be added to them (Matthew 6:33).
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible says there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, confessing Him as Lord and believing in His resurrection (Romans 10:9).
Father, we ask all these things in Jesus' name, amen.
