Disciple of Prayer
My partner's life is in your hands, God.The money needed for treatment, surviving till we get it,it all can only be provided by you.I trust in you,you have saved us multiple times even when it seemed impossible. There are no words enough to thankyou for your support, for giving us a guardian angel. Please god take anything from me,just let him live a long healthy life

We join with you in bringing this deep burden before the Lord, for we hear your love and desperation for this man you call your partner and your trust that God alone holds his life in His hands. We thank God that you have seen His deliverance before when things seemed impossible, and we agree that every breath and every provision comes from Him alone. Job 12:10 tells us that in His hand is the life of every living thing, and Psalm 31:15 reminds us that our times are in His hand. Philippians 4:19 assures us that our God will supply every need of ours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

We notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we must lovingly speak to this because it is of eternal importance. There is no other way to approach the Father except through His Son. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is only by the blood of Jesus shed on the cross for our sins and His resurrection that we have access to God, forgiveness, and eternal life. We encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing on Him for salvation, for Romans 10:9 says if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We pray you know Him not only as a helper in crisis but as your Savior.

We also want to lovingly address the way you refer to this man as your partner, because God cares deeply about how our relationships honor Him. The Bible teaches that marriage is a sacred, lifelong covenant between one man and one woman as seen in Genesis 2:24 and that courtship should be pursued with the goal of such a godly marriage between believers. If you are a man and a woman who are not yet married, we pray you will seek to honor God by pursuing marriage rather than remaining as partners, and to abstain from sexual intimacy outside of marriage, for Hebrews 13:4 says let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers, and 1 Corinthians 6:18 calls us to flee sexual immorality. If this is a same sex relationship, we must lovingly but clearly say that God reserves sexual intimacy and marriage for a man and a woman, and homosexual practice is forbidden and called sin in Scripture such as Romans 1:26-27 and 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, and we would urge repentance and walking in purity before Him. We say this not to condemn you but because we love you and want your lives to be aligned with His will and blessing.

We also gently correct your mention of a guardian angel as the source of support. Angels are ministering spirits sent by God to serve His purposes as Hebrews 1:14 teaches, but our thanks and trust belong to God Himself who sends help. Psalm 103:2-3 says praise Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases.

We understand your cry of take anything from me, just let him live, which shows great love, yet we rest in knowing God does not require us to bargain with Him. He already gave His Son for us, and we trust His perfect and sovereign will, even as we plead for mercy.

We pray together now, in the name of Jesus Christ, that God in His mercy would touch this man with healing according to His will, that He would provide the finances needed for treatment, and sustain you both day by day while you wait. We ask that James 5:15 would be true, that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We pray that God would give wisdom to doctors, peace that surpasses understanding as in Philippians 4:6-7, and that He would draw you both closer to Jesus, leading you into repentance where needed, into godly marriage if it is His will for a man and woman, and into a life that glorifies Him. We ask for provision, for healing, for comfort, and above all for salvation and surrender to Christ, trusting that whether in life or in all circumstances God works for good for those who love Him. We continue to lift you both before the throne of grace.

Thank you for trusting us with this. We can hear both the fear for his life and the deep gratitude for how God has carried you both through impossible moments before, and for the help you call your guardian angel.

When treatment depends on money you do not yet have, every day can feel like waiting while carrying a heavy weight. It makes sense you would say take anything from me if he can live. That kind of love is exhausting, and it is also where many families find themselves worn thin, worried and stretched financially while trying to stay strong for the person who is ill.

We are praying with you for his healing and for God's provision day by day, and for wisdom for those caring for him. Alongside prayer, if you have not already, it may help to ask his care team if there is a social worker or financial counselor at the clinic or hospital who can talk through costs, payment options and local resources, and to let a trusted pastor or counselor know what you are carrying so you are not holding it alone. Staying in close contact with his medical team about any changes is important too.

Father, we bring this man before You and ask for Your mercy and healing according to Your will, for strength and peace for the one who loves him, for daily provision and for wisdom for every doctor and decision. Hold them both in Your hands in these uncertain days. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard, and the burden you carry for one who is very dear to you and now lies sick is tenderly regarded. To watch suffering, to feel the want of means for treatment, and to fear what tomorrow may bring, is a great affliction of heart, and it is good that you have turned to the Lord who alone has power to help.

There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. As it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even the hem of His garment, when touched by faith, has virtue to heal the sin sick soul. There is enough in Christ for every needy sinner and sufferer who will come to Him, for though the soul be full of leprosy, the Saviour is full of grace.

The Scriptures join healing and pardon in happy conjunction, for it is written, the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick, the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity. Sin made us sick, the whole head sick and the whole heart faint, and when iniquity is forgiven, healing comes from the pardoning hand. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He first said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, to show that forgiveness and healing are one in His hand. Therefore we would point you first to Christ for the soul, and then to Christ for the body, according to His holy will.

He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and He doeth it tenderly, with loving kindness and tender mercies. Tell Him how sick and how needy you are. His ears hear the whisper of the soul, and your heartbeats are vocal to His heart. You need not look to a guardian angel, for Christ Himself is the Physician, and there is no other name under heaven whereby we must be saved. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and He is near to all who call upon Him in truth.

You have said, take anything from me, just let him live. Such love would bear another's pain, but know that Christ has already borne our griefs and carried our sorrows, and has offered Himself once for all. What is required of you is not to purchase mercy by your own loss, but to submit yourself and all you love into the hands of the Father, saying with Christ, Not as I will, but as thou wilt. That constant submission is the very atmosphere in which the Christian lives, and it makes even the bitter cup to become healing medicine and not deadly poison.

Let us pray for you both.

O Lord our God, Thou Sun of Righteousness with healing in Thy wings, look in mercy upon this afflicted one who is sick, and upon the one who intercedes with many tears. Forgive iniquity, according to Thy great grace, and grant faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone for salvation. If it be Thy will, lay Thy hand upon the sick body and raise him up, and provide what is needed for his care, for Thou knowest our wants and Thou art able to supply. Give wisdom to physicians, give peace to troubled hearts, and teach both souls to walk in Thy holy way and to live according to Thy good design. Draw each one to Thyself, that being first forgiven, they may then be healed, and being healed, may rise to serve Thee. We ask not according to our deserts, but according to Thy mercy in Christ Jesus. Amen.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will show you His provision day by day, that He will sustain you till help comes, and that above all you both may know the pardon and healing which are found only in Jesus. Seek Him in His Word, and hear Him with a heedful heart, for faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing your heart and this heavy burden. We hear how much you care for this man and how deeply you are trusting God for his life, for healing, and for the money needed for treatment. It is good that you are turning to the Lord in this time of fear and need, and we want to pray with you.

We join you in asking God for mercy. We pray that He would be gracious to this man who is ill, that He would sustain his life, grant wisdom to his doctors, provide for every medical and daily need, and bring healing according to His perfect will. We pray also for you, that God would give you strength, peace, and comfort as you wait and trust Him, and that you would know His nearness and provision day by day.

We thank God with you for the ways He has helped you in the past, even when things seemed impossible. Scripture teaches us that every good gift comes from Him, and that He alone is our Savior and hope through Jesus Christ. Our greatest need before God is forgiveness and new life through faith in Jesus, who died and rose again so that all who trust in Him alone may be reconciled to God. We pray that both you and this man would know that salvation and hope fully in Christ, and would grow in trusting and following Him in every part of life.

God loves you and calls each of us to seek His will and to live according to His good design revealed in Scripture, including His design for marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and for sexual intimacy and living together as belonging within that covenant. We encourage you to bring every area of your life before the Lord, to seek His grace to live in a way that honors Him, and to trust His wisdom and love as you follow Him.

Let us pray together:

Father in heaven, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior. You know the needs of this man who is sick and the needs of the one who loves him and is praying for him. Please show Your mercy. If it is Your will, restore him to health and grant him a long life. Provide the funds and resources needed for treatment, and sustain them each day until help comes. Comfort the anxious heart that is praying, strengthen faith, and draw both lives closer to Yourself. Help them to know Your forgiveness and salvation through Jesus alone, and to walk in Your ways in all things. We ask this trusting in Your goodness and power. Amen.

We are continuing to pray for you both. May the Lord give you peace as you cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you.
