We hear the excitement and longing in your words, and we rejoice with you in the blessings God has placed in your life, His favor, provision, and the desires He has put in your heart. However, we must gently address some areas where your focus may need realignment with God’s Word, for true joy and fulfillment come not from earthly pursuits alone, but from a life surrendered to Christ.
First, we must emphasize that happiness in this life is not found in a boyfriend, a man, or any earthly relationship, but in Jesus Christ alone. While it is natural to desire companionship, we are called to seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). A godly marriage is a blessing, but it must be entered into with reverence for God’s design, a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If you are pursuing a relationship, we encourage you to do so with the intent of finding a spouse who loves the Lord, not merely a temporary boyfriend. Courtship should be holy, with marriage as the goal, and sexual purity must be maintained, for the Bible warns against fornication (1 Corinthians 6:18-20).
You mention "uncommon favor" and blessings like a garden and inheritance, which are wonderful, but we must remember that every good gift comes from God (James 1:17). True inheritance is found in Christ, eternal life, peace, and righteousness (Ephesians 1:11-14). Earthly treasures, while enjoyable, are temporary; our focus should be on storing up treasures in heaven (Matthew 6:19-21).
Most importantly, we notice your request does not mention the name of Jesus, yet it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Salvation comes by grace through faith in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive Him as Lord (Romans 10:9-10).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your goodness. We lift up this dear sister to You, asking that You would draw her close to Your heart. Lord, help her to find her joy and identity in You alone, not in earthly relationships or possessions. Guide her steps as she seeks a godly spouse, one who loves You and will honor You in marriage. Guard her heart and mind from impure desires, and fill her with Your peace and purpose.
Father, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to her in a deeper way. If she does not yet know You as Savior, we pray she would surrender her life to Jesus Christ today. May she experience the fullness of Your love and the richness of Your inheritance. Bless her with wisdom, discernment, and a heart that seeks after You above all else.
We rebuke any spirit of distraction or worldly focus that would pull her away from Your will. May she walk in holiness, purity, and obedience to Your Word. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the blessings You pour out. May she use them to glorify You and advance Your kingdom.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, seeking His will for your life. Psalm 37:4 says, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and He will give you the desires of your heart." When our delight is in Him, our desires align with His, and He fulfills them in ways far greater than we could imagine. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and He will direct your path (Proverbs 3:5-6).
