Thank you for sharing your heart so openly and allowing us to pray for you. We have lifted your requests before the Lord and we continue to remember you, your children, your family and the heavy burdens you are carrying after the loss of your mother.
We hear how exhausted and overwhelmed you feel, with pressure at home, concerns about rental income and accounts, the fog in your mind, the loss of the routines that once helped you, and the desire for clarity, peace and a way forward in your work. We also hear your honest words about moments when you feel you have had enough and wish you could pass away naturally, even as you love your children deeply. Please know that your life is precious to God and to your children, and that feeling pressed and perplexed is not the end of your story. Scripture teaches us that we are saved by hope, but hope that is seen is not hope. If we already saw everything fulfilled, there would be no need to hope. God has not made us only for what we can see and hold today. He has promised life in Jesus Christ, and that promise is surer than what is present and visible. You brought nothing to God except faith in what He promised, and by that faith He made you His child when you were without strength. He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him to death for you will surely care for you in what is to come. His desire is not to destroy you but to save you, and for that reason you can hope for kind and great things from His hand.
For this reason do not despair of your salvation or of His help. The evil one never despairs of our destruction, and it would be a great condemnation if he never gives up hope to harm us while we give up hope in God who loves us. While it is still called Today, there is hope. As long as we live, Today is in season, and God invites us to return to Him, to be restored and to find mercy. As it is written, we are pressed on every side yet not crushed, perplexed yet not unto despair, pursued yet not forsaken. Patience works perseverance and perseverance works hope, and that hope will not disappoint because God has already shown His love in Christ.
We are praying for you in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father.

Scripture warns that the love of money is a grievous tyrant that can put the soul beside itself, even as it led one of the twelve to betray the Lord for thirty pieces of silver. We pray God will guard both your heart and your brother's heart from that snare, and will lead you to act with integrity and to seek what is just and right.
We pray especially that God will carry you through this difficult time and help you see a way forward, comforting you in your grief and giving you rest. Take the Scriptures as medicines for the soul. When grief befalls you, dive into them as into a chest of medicines, not only glancing at them but keeping them in your mind, especially the Gospels, the Psalms and the apostolic letters. There you will find comfort for loss and fear, and the reminder that grief and mourning will one day flee away.
We also exhort you gently, as we are called to exhort one another daily and to comfort the fainthearted and support the weak. Do not walk through this alone. Stay close to faithful believers who can encourage you, pray with you, and help you bear these practical burdens. Keep simple, steady habits where you can, whether a short walk when you are able, regular rest, prayer and reading, and small steps in learning.
