We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up ### and her family to the throne of grace. Heavenly Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon ###’s eye infection. We pray that You would restore her health swiftly, according to Your will, and grant her relief from discomfort. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We trust in Your healing power, Lord, and ask that You would bring comfort and strength to ### as she waits on You.
We also lift up ###, ###’s mother, who has been struggling with mental illness. Father, we ask that You would guard her mind and heart, protecting her from confusion, fear, or any strange ideas that may arise. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We pray that You would fill ### with Your peace, surround her with wise and godly counsel, and grant her the strength to navigate each day with clarity and hope. Lord, we also ask that You would give ### and her father, ###, patience, wisdom, and compassion as they care for ###. Help them to extend grace and understanding, even in difficult moments.
Father, we pray for ###’s health as he is away from home. We ask that You would strengthen him physically and grant him the endurance he needs. We pray that whatever is being fixed in his absence would be resolved completely, so that he may return home at the right time, according to Your perfect plan. Your Word assures us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We trust that You will provide for ###’s needs and guide his steps.
We also lift up ###’s parents’ anniversary to You, Lord. We pray that You would bless them with a special day, free from stress or inconvenience. We ask that You would provide a meaningful gift for them, one that reflects Your love and their years of commitment to one another. We pray for good weather on Sunday, free from rain or snow, and for smooth logistics with any deliveries or plans they may have. Father, we know that marriage is a sacred covenant, and we pray that You would continue to strengthen ### and ###’s union, even amidst the challenges they face. Help them to honor You in their relationship and to lean on You for wisdom and grace.
Lord, we also bring before You ###’s desire for another job. We ask that You would guide her to a position that aligns with her skills and abilities, one that does not overwhelm her or place undue burden on ### and ###. Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 14:33, "For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace." We pray that You would bring clarity to ###’s decisions and help her to find a job that allows her to thrive without adding unnecessary stress to her family. We also ask that You would give ### and ### the strength to set healthy boundaries and communicate their needs with love and wisdom.
Father, we pray for the challenges ### is facing with her ESL students, particularly ###. We ask that You would grant ### patience, wisdom, and discernment as she navigates these difficulties. Help her to respond with grace and to set appropriate boundaries, so that she is not overwhelmed by unrealistic demands. We pray that You would soften ###’s heart and help her to understand the importance of respect and cooperation. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 15:1, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." We ask that You would bring peace to this situation and help ### to find a resolution that honors You.
Lord, we also lift up the broader concerns on ###’s heart—concerns about global peace and leadership. We pray for wisdom and discernment for the leaders of the United States and Iran, that they would seek peace and avoid conflict. Your Word tells us in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence." We pray that You would guide the hearts of leaders, including ### and ###, to act with integrity, responsibility, and a desire for the well-being of their nations. We ask that You would raise up leaders who honor You and seek Your wisdom in their decisions.
Finally, Lord, we want to address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You, Father. Your Word declares in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray that ### and her family would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, if they do not already. We ask that You would draw their hearts to You, reveal Your love to them, and help them to place their trust in Christ alone for salvation. May they experience the peace, hope, and joy that comes from a personal relationship with You.
Heavenly Father, we lift all these requests to You, trusting in Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your perfect plan. We ask that You would work in ###’s life, in her family, and in the world around them, bringing healing, peace, and restoration. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
