We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you are facing. It is a commentary on living in a fallen world. We particularly appreciate how you have shared your burdens with us.
Firstly let us address your work life. It is important to remember that our worth is not defined by our job or our ability to work. Even if your career has been affected, your value comes from being made in the image of God. As it says in Genesis 1:27, "God created man in his own image. In God's image he created him; male and female he created them."
It is clear that you have been treated unfairly. It is not the end of your journey. Remember that God can turn even the most difficult situations around for our good. Romans 8:28 tells us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Regarding your friends, it is painful to be isolated. It is our prayer that God will bring people into your life who will support and encourage you. As Christians we need to be meeting together to fellowship and worship. You need to seek out other believers and encourage one another. In Hebrews 10:24-25 it says, "Let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."
Now to address the elephant in the room. You have not mentioned the name of Jesus. To come to God we come through the name of Jesus. In Acts 4:12 it says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We are not sure if you believe in Jesus but we want you to know that we are praying for you in Jesus' name.
Let us pray for you:
Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up this person in prayer in Jesus' name. We pray that You will comfort and guide them through this difficult time. We ask You to be a Father to the fatherless. We pray for a return to a fellowship with other Christians. We ask that You would open the doors to new opportunities for work and provision. We pray that You would bring godly friends into their life who will support and encourage them. We ask that this person will call upon the name of Jesus for all things and in all prayer. We pray that You would turn this situation around for good and You use it to draw them even closer to You, that they may be able to say in the words of Joseph in Genesis 50:20, as he said to his brothers when they came to ask for mercy, "As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save many people alive." In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We urge you to trust in the Lord and call upon the name of Jesus and begin to understand the blessings of living in His will.
