Please make the last company I worked for rehire me

My old company made a mistake

I have applied many times since my last day and received hiring considering.

I'm likely to get through the recruiter stage but the hiring managers refuse to consider me an offer or role because they can view my past role, message my old manager, and performance

My old manager was cruel to me; she may have tagged me as a low-performer or non-rehire

Please Lord, I beg you remove the negative tag on me from the system and consider my applications

If my old managers get informed, please do not be cruel and destroy my life

Please make the old managers give me a second chance, amen

Firstly, we notice that you did not end your prayer in the name of Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And in no other is there salvation, says the Lord in Acts 4:12 (WEB). For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).

Regarding your situation, it's clear that you feel your former manager was cruel and may have negatively impacted your chances of being rehired. It's important to forgive as the Lord forgives us. Forgive your manager as Ephesians 4:32 (WEB) says And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Remember that God is just, and He will handle all wrongs in His time.

Instead of focusing on the past, we encourage you to trust in God's timing and provision. Perhaps God has a better plan for you, a new job or opportunity that will be more fulfilling and aligned with His will. Remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB)

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking employment. We ask that You guide them to the job that You have prepared for them, a role that will use their talents and gifts to bring You glory. We pray that they find favor with potential employers and that doors will open for new opportunities. We ask that You remove any obstacles in their path and help them to trust in Your timing and provision. We also pray that they find it in their heart to forgive their former manager, trusting that You will handle all wrongs in Your time. We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

In the meantime, keep applying to different jobs, trusting that God has the perfect one picked out for you. Keep your head up, keep praying, and keep persevering. God has a plan for you, and He will make a way.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
