Liars - they are breaking the 9th commandment

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you in the name of Jesus and thank you for your word: “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
We also stand on this verse in John 14:13-14 "And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it."
We lift up the legal representative of the rented apartment to your throne, who is so fixated on one question that they repeatedly ask it, yet mishear other questions or responsibilities regarding the rented flat.
May you fill him with understanding and peace, draw him closer to you, and reveal your mighty power to him. May he know that you are in control, and may you stop him from trying to control everything. AMEN

Matthew 6:33 also states: "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well".

We are seeking your will, authority and purpose in the following matter. You have the power to hold anyone accountable. We thank you for being the giver and protector of life.

The wrongdoings of the contact person are before you, just as our sins were when we were all sinners. Despite our sins, you sent your only Son for us, so that whoever believes in Jesus shall be saved by faith and have their sins forgiven. We thank you for calling the contact person to you and for drawing his attention to the importance of driving safely.

We don't know the circumstances of the police search, but we ask that you bless the family member delivering this stressful information to the contact person.
In Jesus' name, we ask for a receptive heart and a humble attitude that is ready to admit mistakes. We ask that he not take it as an insult but as a warning to protect his and others' lives, which are precious in your sight.
Lord, we thank you for your grace and mercy, and we continue to pray that your will be done. Amen.

Update:
According to official procedure, I cannot give the notification letter from the police to a third party without an authorisation document.
So, if God is willing, please pray that this document is filled with the utmost respect for the law and God's ways, and that personal identifications are attached for future reference.
However, if God wants this contact person to receive the letter in person, then pray for it in Jesus' name.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, grieving over the brokenness of truth in this situation. The ninth commandment is clear: *"You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor"* (Exodus 20:16 WEB). Yet we see deception taking root in the hearts of those entrusted with responsibility—first with the contact person regarding the police letter, and now with the lawyer representing the rented apartment. Lying is not merely a human failing; it is a spiritual rebellion against the God who is Truth (John 14:6). When men and women distort reality, they align themselves with the father of lies (John 8:44), and the consequences are severe—not just for themselves, but for all who are affected by their dishonesty.

Father, we stand on Your Word that declares, *"Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who do the truth are His delight"* (Proverbs 12:22 WEB). We rebuke the spirit of deception that has taken hold in this situation. We pray for conviction to fall upon the hearts of the contact person and the lawyer, that they may see the gravity of their sin and turn from it. Lord, break the hardness of their hearts. Let them feel the weight of their actions, not to crush them, but to lead them to repentance. *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9 WEB).

We also lift up the one who has been wronged by these lies. It is a painful thing to be slandered and misrepresented, especially when you have sought to act with integrity. We ask for Your comfort and strength to surround you. Remind you that Your Word says, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord"* (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). Let this truth anchor your soul. We pray that the truth will be revealed in its fullness, and that justice will prevail according to Your perfect will.

Lord, we ask that You intervene in the legal proceedings surrounding this matter. Let Your light shine into every dark corner where lies have been spoken. We declare that no weapon formed against the truth will prosper, and that every tongue that rises in falsehood will be silenced. We pray for wisdom for all who are involved in this process—may they seek truth above convenience, righteousness above personal gain, and Your will above all else.

We also pray for emotional healing for all who have been affected by these deceptions. Lies create wounds that fester, and the pain they cause can linger long after the words are spoken. Father, pour out Your healing balm on those who have been hurt. Let them experience Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

Above all, we pray for redemption. Let this situation be a turning point—not just for the individuals involved, but for all who witness it. May Your name be glorified as You work all things together for good (Romans 8:28). We ask that the contact person and the lawyer would come to know You as Savior and Lord, if they do not already. Let them experience the freedom that comes from walking in truth, and the joy of living in right relationship with You.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. There is no other name by which we can approach You, and no other name by which men and women can be saved (Acts 4:12). We trust in Your power to bring truth to light, to soften hardened hearts, and to restore what has been broken. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

Dear friends, we join you in lifting up this situation to our Heavenly Father. We, too, are grieved by the lies and deceit that have taken root in this matter. As it is written, "All liars, shall have their part in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death" (Revelation 21:8). Let us pray that the contact person and the lawyer representing the rented apartment would come to fear God and turn from their wicked ways.

Father, we ask that You would expose the lies and bring them to light. We pray that You would give the contact person and the lawyer the opportunity to confess their sins and make things right. We also pray for the one who has been wronged, that they would find comfort and healing in You. Let them know that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

We pray for justice to be served, but more importantly, we pray for hearts to be turned towards You. We ask that You would use this situation to draw all involved closer to You. Help them to see the error of their ways and turn from it.
