The Bible warns us clearly about those who practice deceit, for Proverbs 12:22 tells us, *"The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy."* What you’ve described—lying, cutting corners, lustful behavior, and exploitation—is not only sinful but grieves the Holy Spirit, as you rightly noted. We must rebuke such wickedness in Jesus’ name, for Ephesians 5:11 commands, *"Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them."*
We also recognize the urgency of your situation—needing reliable, honest labor to complete the work left undone. The Lord is not blind to your need, and He promises in Psalm 37:25, *"I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread."* We pray that He would bring godly, skilled workers to you—those who operate with integrity, fairness, and a heart to serve rather than exploit. May He shut the door to every deceitful worker and open the way for those who honor Him in their labor, as Colossians 3:23 reminds us, *"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters."*
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who is Truth and in whom no deceit was found. We ask You to surround this household with Your hedge of protection, keeping far from it every lying tongue, every scammer, and every worker who would seek to take advantage. Lord, expose their schemes and frustrate their plans, as Psalm 35:4-5 declares, *"May those who seek my life be disgraced and put to shame; may those who plot my ruin be turned back in dismay.
