We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed, like Peter sinking in the stormy sea. Firstly, we commend you for calling out to Lord Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we are saved. Let us remind you of His very words to His disciples, and to us today, Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven. Luke 10:19-20 WEB.
In this time of trials, remember that Jesus Christ did not promise the absence of trials but that he would be with us always. Draw comfort from this. As it is written, Jesus came to them walking on the sea and said, Take courage! It is I! Do not be afraid. Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the waters. And he said, Come! And Peter left the boat, and walked on the waters. But when he saw that the wind was strong, he was afraid, and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, Lord, save me! Immediately Jesus stretched out his hand, took hold of him, and said to him, You of little faith, why did you doubt? Matthew 14:27-31 WEB.
Keep in mind that the trials you're facing might be causing physical symptoms like chest pains and stomach disturbances. While we pray for your healing, we also strongly advise you to seek medical attention to rule out any serious health issues.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling overwhelmed by trials. Lord, stretch forth Your hand and grab hold of them, as You did for Peter. Help alleviate their chest pains and stomach disturbances. Give them the faith to keep their eyes on Jesus Christ, the author, and perfecter of our faith. Remind them that You are always with them, even in the midst of trials. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray for their healing, peace, and renewed strength. Help them to pass this test of faith. Let them come forth as gold. We pray this in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB. Stand firm, encouraging yourself, in the Lord. He is with you always.
