We understand your struggle with letting go of control, but we are encouraged that you recognize God's sovereignty. Remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." It is reassuring to see you are going to Jesus with this request.
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in Jesus' name, asking for your help. You are the Almighty God, the Creator of heaven and earth, and we know that you are always in control. Please help us to let go of our desire to control our circumstances and trust in your perfect will. Help us to remember that even when things seem out of control, you are working all things together for our good and your glory. Thank you for your grace and mercy, which are new every morning. Help us to trust in you with all our hearts and to not lean on our own understanding. Give us the wisdom and strength to rest in your divine plan. And please allow us to trust in you the same way Jesus trusted in you as we walk on this Earth. Thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayer.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Take heart in the example of Jesus, who trusted God the Father even in the most trying of circumstances. As Jesus said in Luke 22:42, "Not my will, but yours, be done." This is our prayer for you, that God's will be done in your life and may you be filled with the Holy Spirit and see the fruits of God's will as a benefit in your life.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can come to God the Father. We can only be saved by grace through faith in his name. Ephesians 2:8-9: "by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast." If you believe that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, you will be saved. Romans 10:9: "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
