Dear Lord~ As the soldiers and military men and women return, I pray for the spouses and families to be understanding and patient. We have no idea what they've lived through, surrounded by decapitations and body parts, constant stress, combat and chaos and no sleep, plus lots of caffeine. I pray the wives won't take the anger and isolating personally, as it was what kept them alive in Iraq.I ask for you to bring the right people to counsel these men and women, as they struggle to put their relationships back in place. I pray against the spirit of divorce and abandonment. Do a mighty work by Your Holy Spirit to bring healing, restoration, unity and love. Bind up the broken in body and mind, with Your Master's touch.Heal all these nervous systems and brains, and reward them for their great sacrifices, Lord.Give them quiet and peaceful surroundings, as they've made it home alive. May they see that seeking help if needed, is a sign of strength.I ask for the VA system to set some immediate things in place to get help quickly to these families. Bless all the children involved, so they don't develop secondary ptsd. You are the Great Physician. Pour out Your healing balm on hearts and minds, and re-construct these families, I pray in Jesus' Name. Thank You Lord.
