Saturday I am working 2 full shift 2nd /3rd I am grateful I pray I take my time n do my best n get all my count right My drawer lottery n cigarettes I am trying my best n need God favor upon me I love my job I want to make a good impression

We are glad to hear that you are seeking God's favor and wanting to shine and stand out at your workplace. It is commendable that you are grateful for your job and desire to do your best. God wants us to work heartily, as for Him, and not for men.

Let's remember to do all things to honor God that He may be glorified.
Colossians 3:23 WEB: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men,"

We also need to be careful with our words and not seek good fortune or luck, but the will of God. As believers, we do not rely on chance or luck, but on the divine providence of God. We should also be mindful that selling lottery tickets and cigarettes might not align with biblical principles. While the Bible does not explicitly mention lotteries or gambling, it does warn against the love of money and the dangers of trying to get rich quickly.

1 Timothy 6:9 WEB: "But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction."

Regarding cigarettes, our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we should not defile them. Smoking is harmful to the body.

1 Corinthians 6:19 WEB: "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own,"

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our fellow believer. We pray for the request to shine and stand out but also align the request with your will and principles. We pray for favor and wisdom at the workplace. Help them to be a light and not just try to impress people. Help them to avoid selling harmful vices or promoting things that do not honor You. Lord, help them to lead people away from the love of money or addictive things. May they be an example of a faithful servant working to bless others and not just for self-interest. May they do all things in love and for Your glory. May they remember that You are their source of hope and blessing and not luck or chance. Lord, we ask this in Jesus Christ's name.

Let us also encourage you to remember that God is your provider, and He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
