Let me be "the one" dear Father.....

I have a favorite devotional book that rotates in and out of my life. I love its teachings and thought provoking questions. In getting it out once again, the lesson that I was reading was the bible story about Jesus and the ten lepers. He sent them off to the priests, and while traveling there they were healed! Completely healed...no sores, no marks, beautiful healthy skin! Unbelievably, only one of the ten came back to give thanks and praise to Jesus.

Today, my prayer is that I will always be "the one”. I pray that I never overlook any blessing or gift from God in my life without offering sincere thanks and praise. No matter what our life circumstance, in times of plenty and in times of want, God is always right beside us, working on our behalf. May we never forget to praise what He has done for us, and thank Him for the many more things He will do. The words of His Scriptures are true and can be trusted...He has a plan for our lives, He has a purpose for us, He will work things together for the good of those who love Him. Sometimes life is so overwhelming that it is hard to see, but we are truly blessed. May God bring each of us an abundance of His love and blessing this day and always. I pray that each of us would dedicate our lives to being "the one."

God Bless you for your post. God will always have a "Remnant" that will be Faithful to Him. One out of ten ratio is about the same ratio that returned from Babylon to the Promise Land. Praise God for His Remnant. All of us should strive to be that Remnant of God. Blessing to you.

Lord, I join those in this thread, and ask You to send the Holy Spirit to indeed remind me to give praise for the many blessings You have given me and my family. There are not enough words to express Your Generosity and my overwhelming feelings of gratefulness. Heavenly father, as I humbly stand before you today. I praise your name, and give you glory to all things in my life. I know you love me more then I deserve. Forgive me of my sins of selfishness lately. For I have only been putting my own needs first. Feeling sorry for myself. My own little pity party. I lost sight of the larger picture.
