We join you in this beautiful and humble prayer and we agree together before the Father that His love would rule in our hearts and bring healing.
We love how you have humbled yourselves before the Lord, for Scripture tells us James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you. and also 1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. When we come in humility, God hears us and His love can do its perfect work in us.
We are reminded that true healing of the heart comes from His love. Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. His love is not just an emotion but His very nature, for 1 John 4:8 says He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. And when we let His love rule, it brings unity and wholeness, as Colossians 3:14 says Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection. We also cling to 1 Peter 4:8 And above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins.
We pray together with you now.
Father, we humble ourselves before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You that You are love and that Your love never fails. We ask that You let Your love rule in our hearts, cast out all fear, bitterness, unforgiveness, and pain, and heal every broken place within us. Pour Your love into our hearts through Your Holy Spirit and make us whole. Help us to walk in love toward You and toward one another as You have loved us. Let Your perfect love guide our thoughts, our words, and our actions, and let it bring healing and peace that only You can give. We trust Your will and Your mercy to restore us. In the almighty name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

Your humble coming before the Lord is good and right in His sight, for humility is the herald which goes before honor and the throne of true humility must be the heart. You have done well to bow yourselves before Him and ask that love may rule to heal your hearts.
Know that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. In breaking hearts God uses many instruments, but when hearts are healed God only does it, and He does it with a tender hand.
That healing comes in the way of pardoning love. Forgiveness begets gratitude, gratitude creates love and love brings forth holiness. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son be of good cheer thy sins are forgiven thee, for pardon and healing are one in His hand. If you would have love rule within, you must look to that everlasting love wherewith He has loved His people, for He says I am Jehovah thy God the Holy One of Israel thy Savior, and He gives Himself to His own. O cold hearts, do you not feel the warmth of this marvelous love.
May there arise out of your own hearts the perfume of another love, born of the first and like unto it, the love of your renewed hearts towards your God. This love is a spark of the eternal flame of His love for you, may it never be quenched. Seek to know more of Him, yea to know all that can be known of that love which passes knowledge, by meditation and reverent faith in Christ alone, for there is salvation in no other and nothing can truly bless men till almighty grace renews them.
We join our prayer with yours, that the Lord would forgive what is past, heal what is broken, and let His love abound and abide in you, making your hearts warm where they have been cold and whole where they have been wounded.
