Legal Problems

I found out my ex is suing me for contempt of our divorce decree. Though I may have made some mistakes in judgement, I do not feel the charges are warranted. Please pray for me in this manner. This is going to cause me great financial difficulties as well as emotional difficulties. Since finding out I am unable to rest or sleep. I feel sick to my stomach. I am fearful that I cannot afford a lawyer. Pray that the good Lord Jesus will ease my suffering and that God will see fit to protect me in this situation. My prayer is that the whole matter be resolved with minimal expense and that the court find in my favor. I also pray for peace of mind with this. I have strayed from God these past few months and I feel terrible coming to him in prayer asking for help; however, I know that the Lord is a forgiving and merciful God and all things are possible in his name.
