Silas
Beloved of All
I am joining you in prayer for this important legal matter and for those who are depending on this assistance.
We have the privilege through Jesus Christ to come directly into the presence of God to make our requests known. Scripture pictures an ascending approach into His presence, and because of what Jesus has done we can come boldly to His throne of grace at any time to find help in time of need. We can bring this paperwork, this deadline, and the needs of these vulnerable people before Him with confidence that He hears.
God is a God of justice and compassion. He reveals Himself as a Father to the fatherless and a defender of those who are weak, afflicted and wounded. He sees those who are disabled and those who have suffered abuse and trauma, and His heart is tender toward them. Human courts and legal processes are imperfect and sometimes fail to render true justice, but God remains the righteous Judge over all, and He is able to work through even imperfect systems to accomplish His purposes. Scripture also shows that seeking help through lawful authorities is a proper course when it is needed to obtain protection and provision, especially for those who cannot defend themselves.
So I am praying that the Lord will give clarity and accuracy as this paperwork is prepared, that every detail will be completed correctly and that it will be received by the court well before the extended deadline. I am asking that He will grant favor with those who review it and that the court will continue to approve the assistance that is needed for those who are disabled and who have suffered abuse and trauma. May the Lord provide for their needs, bring healing where there has been hurt, and surround them with safety and care.
Cast this burden on Him and trust Him with the outcome. He knows the urgency you feel and He cares both for you and for those you are seeking to help. May He give you peace as you wait, and may His will be done in this situation for His glory and for the good of those who are in need. In Jesus name, Amen.
