We join you in lifting up this need before the Lord and we thank you for asking in Jesus' name, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and confidence that He hears us. John 14:6 reminds us that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him, and Acts 4:12 tells us there is salvation in no other name.
We pray with you for peace and diligence as this legal paperwork is completed. We ask the Lord to grant wisdom, clarity, and attention to detail to everyone involved in preparing and filing these documents, that all would be done correctly and with excellence as unto the Lord. Colossians 3:23 calls us to whatever we do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, and we pray that spirit of careful stewardship would rest on this task.
We also bring the court and its officials before God, for Proverbs 21:1 says the king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses, He turns it wherever He desires. We pray that the paperwork would be received without delay or error before the extended deadline, that no technicality or oversight would hinder it, and that favor would be granted. Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us not to be anxious but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to God, and we trust His peace to guard your heart as you wait.

Isaiah 1:17 calls us to learn to do well, seek justice, relieve the oppressed, defend the fatherless, plead for the widow, and we ask God to move the hearts of decision makers to reflect His heart for the suffering.
