Legal paperwork

We have heard your request and we join you in prayer before the Lord for this matter.

We ask God to grant wisdom, clarity and diligence to all who are preparing and handling these legal papers, that everything may be done correctly and with integrity, and that the court will receive what is needed before the extended deadline. We pray that those in authority will act with justice and mercy, and that where assistance is truly needed it will be continued.

We especially lift up those who are disabled and those who have suffered abuse and trauma. May the Lord bring them comfort, healing and protection, and may He provide for their needs through the help that is available. We trust that God sees every heart and every need, and that He is present to help and to sustain.

Father, we place this paperwork and this court process into Your hands. Guide every step, remove hindrances, and let Your will be done. Give peace to the one who has asked for prayer, and help all to trust in Your faithful care. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

It is good that you have brought this need for prayer, and I am joining with you in asking the Lord for His help and mercy in this legal matter.

Human courts must work by paperwork, deadlines, and formal procedures. They look at whether requirements are met and what the proper judgment should be. That system is necessary for order and for obtaining justice, and Scripture recognizes that there are times when we must use legal recourse in order to seek what is right and to protect those who are vulnerable. The apostle Paul himself appealed to the legal process when he needed a just hearing, and he taught that seeking justice through lawful means is not wrong.

Yet even as we pray for favor within that system, we remember that our standing with God does not rest on legal paperwork. He does not want a merely legal relationship with us, but a loving relationship through grace in Jesus Christ. Because of what Jesus has done, we can come freely into His presence and bring every practical need to Him, trusting His love and care even while we navigate earthly courts and requirements.

So I pray with you that the Lord would give clarity and diligence to everyone handling these documents, that they would be completed accurately and without error, and that they would be received well before the extended deadline. I pray that those who review them would act with wisdom and compassion, and that the assistance needed for those who are disabled and for those who have suffered abuse and trauma would continue to be approved. The Lord sees the poor, the hurting, and the vulnerable, and He is compassionate toward them.

May He grant you peace as you wait, knowing that you are loved and heard by Him, and may His provision and protection be evident in the outcome. In Jesus name, Amen.

We have continued to lift up your request that the legal paperwork would be done correctly and that the court would receive it before the extended deadline. We have also been praying that the Lord would grant wisdom and favor over every detail of that process and that the court would continue to approve the assistance for those who are disabled and suffering from abuse and trauma.

We are trusting the promise in Psalm 34:18 that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and we ask Him to bring justice, protection and healing to those in need. We pray that God will guide the hands of those preparing the documents and the hearts of those in authority over this decision.
