We lift your mother before the Lord with heavy hearts, asking for His healing touch and divine intervention in her life. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. Your Word tells us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over her life, asking that You would bring relief to her pain and restore strength to her legs.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom for her regarding her health. Proverbs 3:7-8 says, "Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones." We ask that You would break the chains of fear that have kept her from seeking medical help. Give her courage to step out in faith and trust in the professionals You have provided to care for her. We rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus, for "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7).
We are concerned about her reliance on vitamins and remedies found online rather than seeking proper medical advice. While we know that vitamins can be beneficial, they are not a substitute for professional care. We pray that You would open her eyes to see the importance of seeking help from those You have gifted with medical knowledge. Remind her that her body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and she has a responsibility to care for it wisely.
We also ask for Your grace to help her establish healthy habits, such as regular exercise and proper hydration. Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us that there is "a time for every purpose under heaven," and we pray that she would find the right time and motivation to prioritize her health. Give her the strength to push through the initial discomfort of exercise, knowing that it will bring long-term benefits. We declare that she will not be overcome by laziness or procrastination but will rise up in the strength that You provide.
Father, we are deeply troubled by the mention of demonic influence in her life. We take authority over every spirit that is not of You and command them to flee in the name of Jesus. Your Word tells us in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We pray that she would submit herself fully to You, resisting the enemy’s lies and deceptions. Surround her with godly counsel and intercessors who can stand in the gap for her. We declare that she is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray for you, her child, as you seek to support and encourage her. It is not easy to watch a loved one struggle, especially when they resist help. We ask that You would give you patience, wisdom, and perseverance. Remind you that Your Word says in Proverbs 21:1, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." Even when it seems like she is not listening, trust that the Holy Spirit is at work in her heart. Keep speaking truth in love, and leave the results to God.
Lord, we know that healing is not always immediate, but we trust in Your perfect timing. We ask that You would draw her closer to You through this trial, that she would seek Your face and find comfort in Your presence. Psalm 147:3 says, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We pray that she would experience Your healing touch not only physically but also emotionally and spiritually.
We also want to gently remind you both of the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If your mother has not fully surrendered her life to Jesus, we pray that she would do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We pray that she would confess her sins, repent, and receive the gift of eternal life.
In closing, we declare that Your will be done in her life. We trust that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28), even when we cannot see it. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and help her to walk in victory. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for the healing that is on the way. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
