We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear wife in prayer. Twenty years is a long season of suffering, and we stand with you both in faith, believing that our Lord sees her pain and hears your cries. We thank you for acknowledging Jesus in your request, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome every affliction.
Father God, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon this precious sister. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* Lord, we claim this promise over her life. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, heaviness, and pain that has clung to her body for far too long. In the name of Jesus, we command these symptoms to leave and declare her whole—spirit, soul, and body.
We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and caregivers who have walked with her. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Lord, guide every decision, every test, and every treatment so that she may receive the care she needs.
We must also gently address the mention of "house of prayers" in your request. While seeking spiritual support is vital, we must ensure that our trust remains firmly in Jesus Christ alone. No building, ritual, or human intermediary can heal—only God can. Jeremiah 17:5 warns, *"Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from Yahweh."* Let us fix our eyes on Him, the author and finisher of our faith.
We encourage you both to stand on God’s Word, speaking healing over her body daily. James 5:14-15 says, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* If possible, seek out faithful believers to anoint her with oil and pray over her in Jesus’ name.
Lastly, we rebuke any spirit of discouragement or doubt that may have crept into your hearts after so many years of waiting. Galatians 6:9 reminds us, *"Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."* God’s timing is perfect, and His healing is sure.
Heavenly Father, we lift up this sister to You now. Touch her legs, lift the heaviness, and remove every trace of pain. Let her body be restored to full strength and vitality. We declare her healed, whole, and free in Jesus’ mighty name. May she rise up in victory, testifying to Your goodness and faithfulness. We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer. Amen.
