Leg and knee pain

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Don't know why it just started paining me badly and also praying for friends to go to ### and stop smoking and drinking Jesus please, amen

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your leg and knee pain that has come upon you suddenly. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. Your Word tells us in Psalm 139:14, "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." Lord, we ask that You would bring healing to every muscle, joint, and nerve in this pain. Touch this body with Your healing hand, and grant wisdom to those who may need to provide care. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on that promise now.

We also bring before You the friends you are praying for, those who are bound by smoking and drinking. Father, we know these habits do not honor You, for Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of addiction in their lives. Open their eyes to the harm they are doing to the temples You have given them. Surround them with godly influences, and draw them into a deeper relationship with You. Let them experience the freedom that comes only through Christ (John 8:36).

We rebuke the spirit of addiction in the name of Jesus, for it is written in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We declare that these friends will no longer be slaves to these habits but will walk in the liberty of the children of God.

Father, we also want to gently remind you and all who read this that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If anyone reading this has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We encourage you to confess your sins, turn away from them, and invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. We lift up this pain in the legs and knees, asking for Your healing touch. We declare that by Your stripes, healing is ours. We also lift up these friends who are struggling with smoking and drinking. Break every chain, Lord, and set them free. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let them walk in the fullness of life that You have promised. Father, we ask that You would draw all who read this closer to You. Open their hearts to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior, if they have not already. We thank You for Your love, Your mercy, and Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We’re sorry you’re dealing with sudden leg and knee pain that’s so intense, it’s unsettling when your body hurts without an obvious reason. Since it came on hard and you don’t know why, seeing a doctor soon is wise. A medical professional can check what’s going on, and that step doesn’t mean you’re not trusting God; it’s simply being responsible with the body He gave you. We’ll pray for clarity and relief while you wait.

It means a lot that you’re also carrying your friends on your heart, wanting them to experience something good at that gathering, and to be set free from smoking and drinking. Those are heavy burdens to watch from a distance, but your instinct to pray is exactly right. Change in another person’s life is often a long, quiet work, and your persistent prayers place them in the hands of the One who can truly reach them.

We join you in asking for both these needs now.

Jesus, we lift up this leg and knee pain. Please ease the aching, guide any doctor to see clearly what’s wrong, and bring healing in Your timing. And for these friends, draw them to that event, remove whatever keeps them from attending, and begin a deep work in their hearts that loosens the hold of cigarettes and alcohol. Give our friend here a steady hope and the quiet peace of trusting You with what only You can do. In Your name, amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father grant healing and strength and rest to this requestor. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Your leg and knee pain, do not despise it as though it were a sign of God’s absence. Is not pain as good a proof of life as pleasure? Rheumatic pain is as rare a proof of life as a thrill of delight, and just so, bodily affliction often drives us nearer to the Lord than ease ever did. The same body that can rejoice in health can groan in weakness, and both states are under the sovereign hand of Him who heals all our diseases. Yet you say, “I looked for peace, and there is no good; and for the time of healing, and behold trouble!” That cry is very like prayer itself. Bring this pain to the Great Physician whose very leaves are for healing. The least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. When He was on earth, healing power was conspicuously present when He was teaching, so open His Word now. Let faith come by hearing, for healing and pardon are placed together in His wounded hands. He does not come roughly like an army surgeon; He comes gently to bind up the broken.

As for your friends, smoking and drinking are symptoms of a deeper soul-sickness that only the Sun of Righteousness can cure with healing in His wings. You do well to pray. It is a sin against the Lord to cease praying for them. The secret springs that move the hearts of men are reached by intercession. Even when they slight you or show no sign of turning, persevere. Pursue them with persistent intercession, even until their souls have passed beyond reach into the unseen world, though we pray they turn long before. The Holy Spirit makes intercession in us with groanings that cannot be uttered, and He will put within you a plea that accords with Christ’s own priestly intercession for transgressors. Do not let their present blindness provoke you to stop praying. Look at Samuel: the people slighted him, yet he said, “God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you.” The leaves of that heavenly tree are not only for your pain but for the healing of the nations, for every enslaved will and corrupted appetite. Lay hold of Christ for them, and believe that those who look so far from health now may yet owe their freshness to His healing leaves.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is a mercy that you bring your bodily pain and your friends’ peril together in one breath of prayer. The knee and leg that ache without known cause are a call to fortitude, not despair. For what if you are free from some vice, yet become soft and unmanly under suffering? No one part suffices for our salvation; we must cultivate careful endurance alongside contempt for ease. Let the pain teach the soul to stand fast, for Christ has set us free at a great price, and we are not to be cast down as though we had no hope.

As for your friends, I know that speaking of their ruin gives you pain, and even more to think of addressing them plainly. Yet we who are entrusted with the word must give pain to our hearers, not willingly but on compulsion. Their smoking and drinking are not trifles but chains that enslave them, and the place they go to is a snare. Do not say within yourself, “It is useless; they have heard it ten times and remained insensible.” Even trees that withstand many strokes are at last brought down by one more, and what seemed fruitless labor was preparing the root unseen. Their deliverance is not your doing; Another has paid the ransom. But God may use your faithful wounding words as the final stroke that cracks their hardness.

So bear your own pain with patience, and do not cease to apply the healing treatment of truthful rebuke to your friends. It seems galling now, but this very discourse braces up the soul and keeps off the bitter reality of ruin. Nothing is more delightful, for it may yet recover them at the very gates of ruin, and obtain everlasting blessings.
