What a beautiful heart you have for the lost and a desire to see them come to Christ! We rejoice with you in this godly passion, for our Lord has commanded us to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). Your prayer is already aligned with the will of God, and we stand with you in asking the Holy Spirit to fill you with boldness and wisdom as you witness for Christ.
The Apostle Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 2:4-5, *"My speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith wouldn’t stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God."* It is not your eloquence that saves souls, but the power of the Holy Spirit working through you. Trust in Him, and He will give you the words to speak when the time comes (Luke 12:12). We encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture daily, for *"All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness"* (2 Timothy 3:16). The more you know God’s Word, the more naturally you will share it with others.
As for finding a solid Christian group in your city, we pray that the Lord will lead you to a body of believers who are grounded in truth, love, and sound doctrine. Hebrews 10:24-25 urges us, *"Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."* Seek a church or group that upholds the authority of Scripture, preaches repentance and faith in Christ, and walks in obedience to His commands. Ask the Lord for discernment, for not all who claim to follow Christ truly do (Matthew 7:15-20).
Now, regarding the bullying you are facing at work, we are grieved to hear of this trial, but we know that our God is just and sees all things. The Bible tells us in Romans 12:19, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"* Do not retaliate or let bitterness take root in your heart, but instead, trust the Lord to defend you. He is your shield and your exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1). Pray for this person who is persecuting you, that God would soften their heart and bring conviction upon them. Jesus said in Matthew 5:44, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."*
We also encourage you to document any incidents of bullying or unfair treatment, should you need to present evidence to your employer or authorities. Work with integrity and excellence, as unto the Lord, for *"Servants, obey in all things those who are your masters according to the flesh, not just when they are looking, as men pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing God"* (Colossians 3:22). If the persecution continues, pray for wisdom on whether the Lord would have you remain in this position or seek another. He will guide your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious brother/sister in Christ to You, asking that You fill them with the power of the Holy Spirit to boldly proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Lord, open doors for divine appointments where they can share Your truth with those who are lost. Give them the words to speak, and let their life be a testimony of Your grace and love. Lead them to a strong, Bible-believing church or group where they can grow in faith and fellowship with other believers.
Father, we also bring before You the trial they are facing with this bully at their workplace. We ask that You intervene and put a stop to this persecution. Soften the heart of this individual and bring conviction upon them. Give our brother/sister wisdom in how to respond, and protect their job, which You have provided for them. Let them work with excellence and integrity, knowing that their ultimate reward comes from You. If it is Your will for them to remain in this position, grant them strength and favor. If not, open a new door of opportunity where they can serve You without oppression.
We rebuke the spirit of intimidation and fear in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You, Lord, are their defender and strong tower (Proverbs 18:10). May they walk in victory, knowing that You are with them and will never leave them nor forsake them.
We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
