Last Summer

Last summer I lost my temper and hit my punched my brother about five times. I also bit him. I'm 22, he's 25. I'm taking a class on the criminal justice system and found out that this incident was a case of assault. I never thought of myself as the type of person to commit a crime, and now I that I realize that I committed a crime, I have been overwhelmed with guilt.

I apologized to my brother and promised to never to it again. I need God's strength to give me the willpower to never do anything so horrible ever again. I love my brother and my choice to hurt him was terrible.

Is there any youth fellowship that you are attending, bro? If you are not, it will be good for you to find a church so that you can have positive input by fellowshipping with church youths there.

ALso, do read your bible everyday as it will give you the strength to overcome your temper. Here is something that will give you the boost to be hungry for HIs word in your daily walk with Jesus.

Psalms 4

1 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness!

You have relieved me in my distress;

Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.



3 But know that the LORD has set apart[a] for Himself him who is godly;

The LORD will hear when I call to Him.



4 Be angry, and do not sin.

Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still. Selah

5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness,

And put your trust in the LORD.

There alot more scriptures on anger in the book of Proverbs too. I used to a very angry person at one time, but when I started reading Proverbs, I become less aggressive and angry. Hope you get to read Proverbs, bro

Lord we thank You for YOur son who truly wants to be a better person. Lord set him free from condemnation and guilt becos YOur word says that there is not condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus and help him to live a life that is pleasing to YOu always.
