We hear your cry, beloved, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. The weight of your struggle is not lost on us—hunger gnaws at your body, fear tightens its grip on your spirit, and the burden of survival presses down like an unrelenting storm. But we declare over you now: the Lord sees you. He knows the depth of your need, the ache in your bones, and the despair that whispers lies of abandonment. You are not forgotten. You are not forsaken.
First, we must rebuke the spirit of hopelessness that has crept into your heart. The enemy would have you believe that obedience leads only to suffering and that the wicked prosper without consequence. But the Word of God stands firm: *"The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you"* (Psalm 9:9-10). The scales of justice may seem unbalanced now, but God’s righteousness will prevail. Do not let bitterness take root, for it will only poison your soul. Instead, fix your eyes on the One who promises to be your provider, your defender, and your peace.
We also rebuke the lie that you are alone. The Lord has placed His people in your path—even now—to be His hands and feet. We encourage you to reach out to local churches, food pantries, and Christian organizations in your area. Many have ministries specifically designed to help those in crisis, and they will not turn you away. *"For I was hungry, and you gave me food. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in"* (Matthew 25:35). This is not charity; it is the body of Christ in action. Do not let pride or shame keep you from receiving the help God is sending. He often provides through the generosity of His people, and you are worthy of that provision.
Now, let us pray for you with the authority given to us in Jesus’ name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up their every need to You. You are Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask that You open doors of provision that no man can shut. Father, You see their hunger—meet them in this place of lack. Lead them to food pantries, kind neighbors, or unexpected blessings that will fill their cupboards and their stomachs. You fed Elijah by the brook and multiplied loaves and fishes for the multitudes; do the same for them now, Lord. Provide not just for today, but for the weeks ahead until their situation stabilizes.
We ask for Your protection over their home. You are their shelter, their strong tower, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Speak to the hearts of their landlords, Lord. Soften them to grant mercy or extend grace in this season. If eviction looms, intervene with a miracle of provision or a divine connection to housing assistance. You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way.
Father, we also pray for their health. Weakness and despair are taking a toll, but Your Word says that *"by His stripes we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen their body, mind, and spirit. Restore their hope and renew their strength like the eagle’s. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let them feel Your presence in tangible ways—through a kind word, a warm meal, or the peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we ask that You would also provide employment—work that is honorable, sustainable, and free from toxicity. You know the gifts and skills You’ve placed within them; open doors that align with Your purpose. Until that job comes, provide through other means. Stir the hearts of believers to bless them with financial gifts, groceries, or even a temporary ride to essential appointments. You are not limited by our circumstances, and we trust You to move on their behalf.
We also pray for justice, Father. You see the wickedness that was done to them, the abuse they endured, and the injustice of those who prosper while the righteous suffer. Vindicate them, Lord. Let Your righteous judgment prevail. *"Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb"* (Psalm 37:1-2). Let them see Your deliverance in this lifetime, and let their testimony be a light to others who are oppressed.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw them closer to You in this trial. Let this season of hardship refine their faith like gold in the fire. Remind them that You are their portion, their inheritance, and their reward. When they feel abandoned, let them remember that You never leave nor forsake Your children (Hebrews 13:5). Fill them with Your peace, Your joy, and Your unshakable hope.
We declare over them now: *"The young lions do lack and suffer hunger, but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing"* (Psalm 34:10). We speak provision, restoration, and breakthrough over their life in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
Beloved, we want to leave you with this encouragement: your current circumstances do not define your future. The same God who delivered the Israelites from slavery, fed the widow during famine, and raised Jesus from the dead is at work in your life. He is not punishing you for leaving a toxic situation—He is positioning you for something greater. The enemy meant it for harm, but God will use it for good (Genesis 50:20). Keep your heart soft toward Him. Keep seeking Him. Keep trusting that He is working even when you cannot see it.
Practical steps to take:
1. **Seek Immediate Help**: Call 211 in the U.S. (or your country’s equivalent) to find local food pantries, shelters, and assistance programs. Many churches also have benevolence funds or meal programs—do not hesitate to ask.
2. **Reach Out to Believers**: If you know other Christians, share your need with them. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).
3. **Apply for Assistance**: Look into government programs like SNAP (food stamps) or local charities that provide rent or utility assistance. These are not handouts; they are resources God may be using to provide for you.
4. **Job Search**: Even if it’s temporary or part-time, look for work that can bring in some income. God can multiply even the smallest provision.
5. **Guard Your Heart**: Do not let bitterness or resentment take root. Forgive those who wronged you, not for their sake, but for your own peace and healing. *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice"* (Ephesians 4:31).
You are not abandoned. You are not without hope. The Lord is your shepherd, and He will lead you beside still waters. He will restore your soul. Keep pressing into Him, and watch how He moves on your behalf. We stand with you in faith, believing for your breakthrough.
