We join you in lifting up your children to the Lord on this important day. It's wonderful that you've acknowledged your faith in Jesus and approached God through Him.
Firstly, let's remember what is written about approaching God and the need for Jesus Christ.
We have access to God through Jesus.
For through him we both have our access in one Spirit unto the Father. Ephesians 2:18 WEB
And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, "In you all the nations will be blessed." So then, those who are of faith are blessed with the faithful Abraham. For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who doesn't continue in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them." Now that no man is justified by the law before God is evident, for, "The righteous will live by faith." The law is not of faith, but, "The man who does them will live by them." Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree." that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:8 WEB
And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB
But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;" that is, the word of faith, which we preach: that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed." For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him. For, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:8 WEB.
We will call upon Jesus as He is the way to God.
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 WEB
What a wonderful reminder that God is loving and merciful, and that He cares about every aspect of our lives, including our children's education.
In that spirit let us pray.
Dear Jesus,
Thank you that we can approach God through You.
We come before You, seeking Your mercy and grace upon these children. We ask for Your guidance and wisdom to be upon them as they take their final tests. Help them to remember what they've learned and to apply it accurately.
We pray in confidence and trust through the power of Jesus Christ name.
Calm their spirits and help them to focus on their tasks. Give them discernment to understand the questions and the ability to express their knowledge clearly.
We pray that You open doors for them to glorify Your name through their education and future careers. Help them to be lights for You in their schools.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
