Landlord

We come before the throne of grace with a heavy yet hopeful heart, lifting up this landlord to the Lord. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His mighty name that we pray. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and so we boldly approach God, asking that this man’s heart be softened and opened to the truth of the Gospel.

Father God, we ask that You would draw this landlord to Yourself with cords of lovingkindness. Break through any hardness of heart, any pride, or any resistance to Your voice. Let him hear Your still, small voice speaking to him, convicting him of sin, and revealing the depth of Your love demonstrated through the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that he would surrender his life, his will, and all that he has, including his property and his authority, into Your hands. May he recognize that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17) and that true fulfillment is found only in a relationship with You.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of greed, selfishness, or exploitation that may be influencing this landlord. We ask that You would replace those motives with a heart of generosity, fairness, and compassion, as Your Word commands: "Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart; not grudgingly, or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Corinthians 9:7). May he treat his tenants with justice and kindness, reflecting Your character in all his dealings.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for this landlord, that he would manage his affairs in a way that honors You. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." May he seek Your guidance in every decision, large or small, and may his life become a testimony of Your grace and power.

Father, if this landlord does not yet know You as his personal Savior, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful and unmistakable way. Open his eyes to see his need for repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. May he experience the transforming power of Your Holy Spirit, turning from sin and embracing the new life You offer. We declare over him the promise of 2 Corinthians 5:17: "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."

We also lift up those who are under his authority as a landlord. May they experience peace, stability, and provision in their homes. If there are any unjust or oppressive practices, we ask that You would intervene, bringing justice and restoration. Let Your light shine in every corner of this situation, exposing darkness and bringing Your truth to bear.

Lord, we trust that You are at work, even when we cannot see it. We believe that Your Word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11) and that Your purposes will prevail. We ask that You would move mightily in this landlord’s life, drawing him into a deep and abiding relationship with You. May he become a vessel of Your love, grace, and truth, impacting not only his tenants but all those around him.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We’re joining you in this prayer, grateful for your heart for your landlord’s spiritual surrender. It’s a holy thing to persist in asking God to bring someone fully into His hands.

When we pray for another person’s will to yield to the Father, it helps to remember that surrender is usually a process rather than a one‑time decision. The landlord may be on a long journey we can’t see, wrestling inch by inch. Our prayers aren’t wasted in the waiting, they are part of the quiet, consistent work God is doing beneath the surface. Holding that perspective protects us from discouragement when immediate change doesn’t appear.

One practical thing we can do is pick a regular time, maybe a particular morning or lunch hour each week, to lift him up briefly. That simple rhythm turns our concern into something steady and trusting rather than anxious. Then, having prayed, we can rest in the truth that God is both willing and able to draw a person home.

Father, we lift this landlord to You right now. You see every barrier inside him that keeps him from hearing Your voice and yielding his will. In Your patience and mercy, soften what is resistant, calm what is afraid, and gently untangle whatever holds him back. Draw him toward a full surrender that leads to deep freedom and peace, for his true good and Your glory. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and He gave ear unto me. The living God is not far from any one of us. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Is it not right? Is it not wise? Surrender unconditionally and say, “Lord God, I own thee now to be king, no longer like stout-hearted Pharaoh will I ask, ‘Who is the Lord that I should obey his voice?’ but like one brought to his senses I yield as reason and grace suggest.” Obey the inward monitor, listen to the still small voice and prepare to meet your God. We are never right till we are right with God. Therefore, surrender to your Best Friend, surrender to your God, surrender to holiness, happiness and everlasting life. Be it your life to live for Him that made you, to live in Him that bought you. Amen.

It is a noble thing to pray for another’s soul, that he might yield to the voice of God and surrender his will to the Father. Yet understand that the voice which compels true submission is not heard by all who stand nearby. When Paul was struck down, his companions saw the light but did not hear the voice that spoke to him alone. The Lord grants such a call as He chooses, and no prayer can force another’s ear to open. But do not think your prayer is therefore powerless. Far from it.

First, let your own life become the voice that pleads with him. A servant who obeys an impatient and unjust master not for the master’s sake but for God’s gains a reward far greater than any wages, and his conduct often speaks louder than words. If you show yourself merciful, mild, and patient, returning good for harshness, you may wound his hardness without a blow. For when he sees your good behavior, though he be an unbeliever, he will be ashamed and perhaps begin to seek the source of such forbearance. This is the way the Gospel spreads: not by compulsion but by the silent force of virtue.

Then, pray with boldness but also with humility, remembering that you too must submit your will entirely to God. For if we endure blows from masters who are flesh, how much more should we accept the loving discipline of the Father who gave His Son for us? He spares us more than any earthly owner spares his own property. Entrust this man to that mercy, and do not grow weary. The Lord who cried with a loud voice and yielded up His spirit by His own power holds authority over every life. There will come a day when every knee shall bow, either by willing surrender or by the compelling sight of judgment. Until then, let your prayer be constant and your example unshaken.
