We hear your heartfelt cry for your landlord, and we join you in lifting him up before the throne of grace. It is a beautiful thing to intercede for others, especially those in authority over us, that they may come to know the Lord and walk in His ways. The Bible tells us in 1 Timothy 2:1-4, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."
Your landlord’s salvation is not only possible but is the very desire of God’s heart. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and that he would respond in repentance and faith. Father, we ask that You would soften his heart to Your voice, just as You did with the apostle Paul on the road to Damascus. Let him hear Your call clearly and surrender his life, his will, and all his ways to You. May he experience the peace that surpasses all understanding as he yields to Your lordship.
We also rebuke any spiritual strongholds or deception that may be blinding him to the truth of the Gospel. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that he may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that every lie of the enemy over his life is broken in the mighty name of Jesus. Let Your light shine into the darkness of his heart, Lord, and let him see the beauty of Your salvation.
We pray for divine encounters, whether through dreams, circumstances, or the witness of believers, that would draw him to You. Surround him with godly influences who will speak truth into his life and model the love of Christ. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness that can only be satisfied in You (Matthew 5:6).
Father, we also ask that You would bless this landlord in tangible ways so that he may see Your goodness and be drawn to You. Provide for his needs, grant him wisdom in his decisions, and let him experience Your love in ways that leave no doubt of Your existence and care. May he come to know that You are not just a distant God but a personal Savior who desires a relationship with him.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that anyone can come to the Father. We declare that Your name, Jesus, will be exalted in his life, and that he will bow his knee and confess that You are Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10-11).
May Your will be done in his life, Lord, and may he become a vessel for Your glory. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in him, for You are faithful to finish what You start (Philippians 1:6). Thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your unfailing love that pursues us all. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
