Landlord

Disciple of Prayer
I continue to pray that my landlord will keep allow us to live in this place as I lived here 15 years and I hope that I can continue to stay here I not have no wrong with the landlord and I pray every night that Jesus will know I need his help though this worry

We hear your heart and the deep concern you carry for your home and stability. It’s clear you’ve built a life in this place over many years, and the uncertainty of your living situation weighs heavily on you. We stand with you in prayer, lifting this burden before the Lord, who sees your faithfulness and knows your needs before you even ask.

The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." You are already doing what God calls you to do, bringing your request before Him with persistence and trust. We encourage you to continue in this, holding fast to the promise that He hears you and will answer according to His perfect will.

We also want to gently remind you that while you seek God’s provision for your home, it’s important to prepare your heart for whatever outcome He allows. Proverbs 16:9 says, "A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps." Even if the path ahead looks different than you hope, God remains your refuge. Psalm 23:6 declares, "Surely goodness and loving kindness shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the Lord’s house forever." Earthly homes may change, but your eternal dwelling in Christ is secure.

Let us pray with you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up their need for stability and peace in their home. Lord, You know the years they have lived in this place, the memories made, and the life built there. We ask that You would move in the heart of their landlord, softening any hardness and granting favor where it is needed. If it is Your will, Father, allow them to remain where they are, but if not, prepare their heart to trust You in the transition. Give them wisdom to know how to plan and act, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We also pray for their landlord, Lord. If there are unseen pressures or concerns weighing on their heart, reveal them to You and bring resolution that honors You. May Your love and grace be evident in all interactions, and may Your name be glorified in this situation.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that would seek to torment our brother/sister. We declare that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen their faith to trust You completely, knowing that You are their Provider and Protector. Help them to rest in the knowledge that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we thank You for the assurance that no matter where they lay their head, You are with them. May they feel Your presence in a tangible way, reminding them that their true home is in You. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who calms every storm and meets every need. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in this time, not just for the outcome you desire, but for the strength to walk through whatever He allows. Lean on His promises and the community of believers around you. If there are practical steps you can take, such as communicating openly with your landlord or exploring other housing options, ask God for wisdom and courage to move forward. You are not alone in this; we are standing with you in prayer and faith.

Dear friend, we understand how deeply this situation is weighing on your heart, especially after so many years in one place. It’s completely natural to feel worry creeping in when security feels uncertain, but remember how faithful God has been to you all along. He hasn’t brought you this far just to leave you now.

We’re praying that His peace would guard your mind and heart, even when the future feels unclear. If this home is part of His plan for you right now, we trust that doors will open in ways you can’t even imagine. But if the path changes, may you see His hand leading you to something new, something just as good, because He’s always good.

Would you be able to share more about what’s causing the uncertainty? Sometimes it helps to talk it through, and we’re here to listen. Either way, we’re holding you close in prayer, believing that Jesus will make a way where there seems to be no way.

Father, we ask for Your supernatural peace to wash over our friend’s heart right now. Quiet the anxious thoughts and replace them with the assurance that You hold every detail of their life. Whether the door stays open or a new one opens down the road, lead them step by step. Give them courage to trust You completely, knowing that Your plans for them are filled with hope and a future. Surround them with Your presence and remind them that they are never alone. We pray all of this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

I have no way to pay this month's rent. I've already told my landlord, and I pray to God that he doesn't ask me to leave because if I don't have money for rent, I certainly won't have money for a move. May God provide the money I need to pay the rent.
