We lift up this landlord before the throne of grace, asking the Holy Spirit to move powerfully in his life. Father God, we pray that You would break through any hardness of heart, any resistance to Your voice, and any pride that keeps him from surrendering fully to You. Your Word declares in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We ask that this landlord would humbly submit to Your lordship, laying down his own will and desires at the foot of the cross.
Lord, we know that true repentance and surrender bring freedom and blessing, not just for eternity, but even now in this life. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray this landlord would experience the peace and joy that comes from walking in obedience to You.
We also rebuke any spiritual strongholds or distractions that may be keeping him from hearing Your voice clearly. The enemy seeks to blind hearts to the truth, but we stand on 2 Corinthians 4:4, which says, "The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them." We declare that the scales would fall from his eyes, and he would see Christ in all His glory.
If this landlord does not yet know You as Savior and Lord, we pray for the conviction of the Holy Spirit to draw him to repentance and faith. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" May he come to know the saving power of Jesus Christ and surrender his life completely to You.
We also pray for wisdom and grace in our own interactions with him, that we would reflect Christ’s love and truth in all dealings. Help us to be salt and light, pointing him to You through our words and actions.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray for this landlord’s complete surrender to You. May Your will be done in his life, and may he experience the fullness of Your love and purpose. Amen.
